I’m really good at flight simulator and love it but I play on controller and want to take it seriously and have a setup, so should I get the honeycomb yoke and honeycomb throttle or the Boeing tca yoke Nd throttle if I mainly fly only airliners both airbus and Boeing equally?
@LennardA32015 сағат бұрын
OMG why can't I use the Global flight planning system from FL2020 and fly 20 minutes and now filling in forms and put it in what cost me an hour? I want to play easy but this is going 1000X

Part of the fun of a high fidelity airliner is learning to set everything up properly :)
@LennardA32011 сағат бұрын
@FlightSimSchool Yes that is true if you want a serious flight, But if I am doing short flights, familiarizing with FL2020 again after a year and practise landings and the Autopilot. But I see you filling in a ton of info. Is all that info critically needed to just fly from A to B? I only need an IFR Flight plan what the autopilot can follow and guides me to the ILS of the runway. I can learn basic things first so that with the minimal input it works and later if I want I can add more realistical parts. So is there a shorter way that you can just fill in a few things to keep it simple. Or everything what you showed is the bare minimum what you need to put in simbrief and also all the things you did in de FMC?
@FlightSimSchoolСағат бұрын
What I did is the absolute minimum you’d need for A to B. Your only other option is to go with a lower complexity airplane from the marketplace, but you won’t get the nice textures, working systems, etc with those so it’s great either.

Since FBW and IniBuilds both are free, I highly encourage for everyone to just try it by yourself and find out which one you like more/ which feature you like more. If you figure out that A320 is for you from the IniBuilds/FBW, then buy the Fenix.

Hi there....for an autopilot autoland landing on a ILS is it better to enable VORLOC rather than pressing the APP button in order for the aircraft to capture the glide slope localizer then once the aircraft intercept the localizer then only press the APP button then only the aircraft begins to descend on its own to land at the runway with both autopilots on?
@FlightSimSchoolСағат бұрын
Yes, you can definitely do it that way too

Hello Marc, I landed on your excellent channel while searching for videos to allow me to determine if I wanted to move from X-Plane to the new MSFS. Based on the few videos I viewed on your channel, I am pretty excited for MSFS. I was also delighted that you use the St-Hubert airport. I spent much of my childhood in that area (Chemin de la Savane) and know the area well. I look forward to catching up with your other videos.
@FlightSimSchool4 күн бұрын
There are some things in MSFS that are a bit more "game-y" than Xplane, but overall, the entire ecosystem of MSFS is a lot more rich, and the high-end addons for both general aviation and airliners are really top notch. Bienvenue à bord ;)

Should we use the throttle to control the descent rate during landing instead of the yoke?
@FlightSimSchool5 күн бұрын
You need to use both in combination to get the right pitch and power setting for landing
@ZL81035 күн бұрын
@@FlightSimSchool In this video, I saw you used the throttle to control descend rate until landing with very little input from the yoke. I think my issue is, because I rely too much on the yoke, I have to make big adjustments to the throttle in order to maintain the correct speed, resulting in a less steady approach and landing.

I am new to FS2024 on newest series Xbox, Thrustmaster HOTAS, and MSFT controller. I am having great challenges navigating the screens with my hand controllers. Like no obvious cursor as I would have with a mouse. Is there a tutor I can engage to get me started? I am familiar with flying, navigation, AP, flight planning. I just can’t get comfortable getting started with my setup. Thanks!

Thanks for the video. It’s very informative❤. What flight yoke are you using. I have the Logitech flight yoke, but ever since an update in early to mid 2023, I’ve found it jumps when climbing and lowering altitude.

I bought the Thrustmaster yoke. I did a review on it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGnIeK13mLSKeLc I've also heard of a few people having issues with it recently as well though, it seems like none of these devices are made to last :(

Hi, geat series you have produced on the 737. How can you delete a entry in a FP, have set the cabin pressure to cruuse before take off and when I get near cruise altitude altitude the warning altitude flashes red with continuous audiable? Advise on what I have done incorrect and can you cancel this warning?
@FlightSimSchool11 күн бұрын
Most commonly this happens if you left a door open, or you forgot to turn the packs on, so the plane didn't pressurize as you climb. There is a "horn cutoff" button on the overhead, IIRC it's next to the flight altitude and landing altitude dials. Make sure your packs are in the AUTO position though next time :)

Xbox version LMAO. The decision to add Xbox support destroyed the entire MSFS 2020/2024 simulation. Thanks a lot, to the console crybaby freaks. You can't let us have a great flight simulator, you have to take it over and change it into a snowflake kid console game and ruin it.
