I LOVE The Seas! On a hot summer day, it was always my favorite place to escape the heat. Burbank is just ruining Disney one decision at a time. It seems like every month, new comes out that sends the parks downward, one step at a time. Well? If 2025 and 2026 bring more attendance drops, we can certainly expect deeper and deeper daily operations cuts to every park. Animal Kingdom prolly will have very few animals in the next 5 years. The most expensive animals are tigers, Lions, elephants, giraffes gorillas and Hippos? Is it reasonable to expect that the entire Safari, which is VERY expensive and could be on the chopping block to save costs????

@naturalistwarrior5 күн бұрын
@ "it was NOT a great area of the park and was EXTREMELY dated" Instead of retheming the land what Disney SHOULD have done was IMPROVE Dinoland to make it better for example: 1. Replace Dino Rama (Except TriceraTop Spin) with a botanical garden complete with Ginkgos, Cycads, Magnolias, Wollemias, Sciadopitys and Horsetails with statues of dinosaurs and other ancient animals. just like the Crystal Palace Park 2. Add Med-Size Fossil Museum where you learn about earths history and check out fossil displays where Primeval Whirl used to be 3. Add a giant Ichthyosaur fountain with ammonites as smaller fountains 4. Add a ride base on the movie "Ice Age" Considering Disney now owns the rights to the films when brought out FOX 5. Add a fossil gift shop where you buy fossils from shark teeth trilobites to Dinosaur teeth to replicas of fossil skulls 6. give Restaurantosaurus a new refreshing look

I think an important consideration/view was overlooked here. It would not surprise me if Disney believes “keeping creatures captive for human entertainment” as problematic. They seem to have this weird, warped sense of understanding why people go to the parks and what the everyday person/family likes. To me, removing this attraction is just Disney being Disney. It’s this weird, virtue signalling that makes no sense. Sure, closing this could be a cost savings exercise. But is Disney really saving money when more and more people decide not to visit? You attract more bees with honey, so they say. Where’s the honey, Disney?
