So I have another question. I’m own my RCF for six years now and have it tuned with fbo. I’m looking at trading it in for an LC. How would you compare the driving experiences and was it a better move from an rcf to the lc?

Lexus is starting to change the engines in all of their cars, I’m hearing there may be changing all of the V8 engines soon. I would think long and hard about selling it.

Issue number one, paying too much for cars, especially when starting out.

The 2 models look so similar esthetically that the ES suffices for most people.

If fast is all you want go and buy a yourself fast electric car, but if you want enjoyment of driving pleasure keep the Lexus KC 500, you will be hard pressed to find something better at its price point.

I have a Lexus RC 350 2019 and I don't see many of them around and the same with the LC 500.. They're a rare bread of cars and not many people can afford the luxury and style they have. Keep it brother. I've had the same issue as you but was thinking of gas prices and electric Hybrid vehicles. I love my RC and will never trade it in.✌

Don’t sell it, it’s truly special and cannot be built anywhere else. If driving experience alone doesn’t do it for you, as an investment these cars hold value well. With the cancellation of the v8 for 2024 I wouldn’t be surprised if this thing also gains value as well.

I have thought about selling my LC500 when the insurance on it almost doubled on a rate hike. Still haven't done it though.

If you do want more power I'm sure there are tuning options - I know that someone makes a supercharger kit for the 2UR-FSE V8 as I've seen a supercharged ISF - not sure if it fits in the LC500 though. Met a guy in an ISF a couple of years ago who had one, he said it was tuned for around 550 rwhp (so probably close to 700 at the crank) - and apparently this was a very conservative tune level for the kit he had.

Don't do it man. Just don't sell it, if you don't absolutely have to. The LC500 will always be special and quite rare. So many cars out there are just fast. This car evokes a very special feeling. And many people won't fully appreciate that feeling until it's gone.

My plan if I keep it was to keep it close to OEM as possible. It will be a collectable one day! V8's are dieing out!

The only reason I'd sell my LC is for another LC! Even on my worst days it brings a smile, and the public response never gets old.
