I just wanted to say thank you so much for your contribution to the community of Christian women who struggle with these things. Also for the unintended audience of men who want to know a little about the women's experience. I saw your video on how to beat lust as a woman around the time your first put it out. At that time, I had put down the pornography and was just starting to redirect my mind. I came back this afternoon because I was struggling to decipher my feelings and my mind. I decided to re write my notes and answer the questions you suggested we ask ourselves when it comes to the root. I just sat down and wrote over half my childhood and finally reconciled with what I could remeber started this addiction. It gave me a whole new sense of gratitude for the spiritual maturity that Lord gave. The perspective he gave to look at the things he brought me out of. Everytime the triggers wrre strong I'd remeber my desperate prayers to God to bring me out of the debauchery I dug myself into. I'm glad it wasnt too late for me to once and for all dedicate my life to Christ. For his mercy is everlasting and hes is just. While I know I will deal with the consequences, I'm ready to face them because this battle is not my own for Christ won when he shed his precious blood on Calvary!

Trying to turn secular music into something it is not is delusional . It’s definitely a trick from the devil. He’s making your soul comfortable with secular feeding. Your soul is a place for God to live in you and he can’t when you’re sharing it with worldly things. Trying to sing this to God is presenting him sin, he knows everything including the background of the songs. There is many Christian’s music that presents the truth of our feeling to God.
