I’m really happy this popped up on my feed. I’m really grateful for your video. I’m someone who’s new in my walk. It’s been easy giving up everything else for God, including starting celibacy, but it’s hard to give up lust. It seems like a battle everyday and I beg God to free me from it. I’ve tried hard to look at content talking about it, but 98% of the contents are made by men for men. The other 2% who are women, are being so vague. So THANK YOU! Just by your words alone, I can tell you’re a true sister in Christ and you have the right understanding! It’s hard to find Christians who are following the Bible to a tea. I struggle with masturbation and I really regret the first time I ever did it as a stupid 12 year old. There was one time I stayed clean for one year as a teen but then I went back to it because I thought I should "test" myself and see if I'll be triggered. 🤦🏽‍♀Yeah I know I was very foolish that was obviously the devil tricking me. I am managing to beat it now it's just dirty thoughts and I know that the thoughts trigger the action. So that is my current struggle. Also as a woman I have noticed due to hormonal changes there are times I really struggle feeling aroused and when I'm on my periods and having cramps I end up masturbating because it's something I would turn to to distract myself from the pain when medicines wouldn't work. I get so nervous every time I'm almost on them because I fear that I'll end up doing it to cope with the cramps. If anyone has beat this and has any practical advise for me please help.

hey love! i used to struggle with the SAME problem. i personally made “battle cards” where i would take a note card and write a bible verse on one side then write a prayer on another (or you can do it in your head ) and I would say it OUT LOUD. it helps! because you’re using Gods word as sword to fight against the enemy tempting you. also physically getting up and moving, doing something else can help too. hope this helps sister in Christ 🩷

Girl the timing of this is insane. Those thoughts were definitely starting to creep in and I went to hang out with my guy friend last night 👀😱nothing happened, just small flirting but we all know that’s step 1 of 2. but this helped so much. One thing that shifted my perspective is when she said don’t date. I knew dating wasn’t in the Bible and I understood the importance of courting but I still be on the look out for my husband which leaves me open to the tricks of the enemy. I simply need to stop dating AND stop looking. It’s hard but.. I’m closer than I ever been. I had a moment of weakness last night, that’s forsure.

We can go on dates, meet each others family and pastors, and even agree to be intentional about only getting to know each other without calling one another bf and gf. Just my opinion as of right now. I’ve never done is so idk

It's to the point that once I see a fione man, I look once to show interest if it doesn't lead to him pursuing me then I avoid eye contact or contact period. It's a set up. Also if a man looks a certain way....I would walk fast and look very busy or leave the area immediately. I'm vulnerable when it comes to men bc of childhood SA and I swear no mattet how much work I do on myself the ones who want to take advantage of my joy can smell that on me. I have to run, literally flee from the devil.

This video really resonated with me and all your videos have so far has confirmed that im not alone with my struggles of the flesh. i have a hard time trying to fast and i find my self trying to fast by jumping straight into a 1 day fast thinking i can handle it and end up failing….i used to be able to do 7 day fast but i had neglected my spiritual walk with Christ because i felt shame for doing things that i know i should not be doing because i did it often n it made me hid my face n ive just been off n on and just unstable in my walk with him. Your videos always comes on time when i need them the most n ik its Christ’s Holy Spirit speaking through you and i Thank the Heavenly Father. I find it really hard to pray as well but im doing better then i was before because at first i couldnt get anything out but when i did this was a prayer i couldnt utter and he answered it through u in this video 🙌🏾😭

this is so helpful, the moment you actually decide to take your walk with God seriously and cut down the root of your vices, the devil will attack and he doesn't attack you just for that, he attacks you TO TAKE YOU OUT slowly or immediately, if given more room he goes for your family AND lineage (pray to God to reveal to you, your generational curses and how to break them so that your children would not have to continue the war but enjoy the prosperities), he doesn't care. Pray to God and ask the Holy Spirit to help you and LISTEN, you can ask for help along the way. Fasting really helped me, but I ASKED GOD and He gave me the exact fast to do. The Holy Spirit helps us pray and hit the exact spot we need. "He makes intercessions for me with groaning that can not be altered", SO YOU CANNOT PRAY AND MISS. Ask Him, and be willing to wait and listen.

Nice video fam, like you said at the beginning both men and women deal with lust. I have used the same tactics as you have myself to overcome it. Also, I will piggyback of off what you said about dating. It's best not to date someone spiritually weaker than yourself. You want to date someone who is on the same journey as you. Example, if you are abstinent and they are not don't put yourself into that kind of sexual temptation, more than likely they will try to seduce you. You must date someone also who is abstinent, because if they are truly from the LORD for you to date then they will also not partake in intimacy before marriage. God would not send you someone who is living in fornication, because God said we should not fornicate. Enjoyed the video and may God continue to bless you!.

Hey lovely, I too workout and usually during that time I stop all physical activity to preserve my energy. Sometimes walking alone can be too much for me. If you must workout I’d suggest intermittent fasting so that you can fuel yourself for your workout but have enough time spaced out to commune with God.
