If my ebike came with torque washers and I want to install torque arm for additional security, can I leave the torque washers in there as well? Mine has over 1000W power.

I recently bought an Euybike S4 for about the same price (1169 dollars) - at the time of my research it seemed the best in that price group for that kind of bike but I kinda wish that I had seen this bike. They are quite similar from what I can tell except that this bike is undoubtedly faster. The Euybike S4's onboard overestimates speed by approximately 2 mph and I find its actual average top speed to be 28 ish, even lower on throttle only. For some reason the PAS is faster than the throttle even if you are barely turning the crank in low gear (true ghost pedaling). I swapped out the rear cassette from a 14-32 to an 11-32 which allows me to add a little speed onto the top end plus I like to pedal at all speeds. I also added a bunch of layers of firm foam padding the seat to lift it up about 6 inches so my legs could get decent pedaling torque (I am about 5'11"). If I had this bike I'd do the same things probably and thats why I mention it here. I couldn't find the gear ratio and chain ring size for this bike but I suspect you would need to swap one or both out to be able to contribute to speed at 30+ mph, especially with 20 inch tires. I have a Kepler and it has 26 inch wheels, and great gearing so even at 35 mph you can pedal at reasonable rpms and still be biking the thing. I get great workouts on my ebikes. This bike looks pretty good and if I were buying today I'd probably buy this one - cruising at 34 mph so low to the ground is a blast!

Assembling now. The handlebar part that you fold up to insert the handle bars into is a separate pice that I can’t figure out how to attach. I bought L20 2.0.

Great review Randy, Glad to see a 20" fat tire folder! As you know, this is my favorite style. Engine Pro 2.0 with 52V16AH has good power and range. Rest of bike looks mighty fine. Personally, I get lotsa exercise with my cadence sensors. But have yet to ride torque sensors... I like the clamp on grips! The bar end usually has a plug that be removed for rear view mirrors. I moved my thumb throttle to the right side between the shifter and grip. Actually like it a lot more than twist throttles...

I ride a Wired Ebike but just bought myself an AR Kepler last week (as a backup e-bike) when I noticed the price drop to $1499. It's actually being delivered to me today so this video is perfect timing. 👍 I'm looking forward to taking it out this evening and seeing how it compares to my Wired Freedom. For the price this bike seems to be a very good deal!

E (for excellent) bike... after 1200 miles riding, this bike still brings home the juice... I want to buy another one just to have a complete set of spare parts and an additional battery for longer, overnighter type rides... thanks for the service overview... I recommend getting a gauged air pump, make sure those tires are at spec... they will roll for many more miles than listed in the manual

So far this Velotric Fold 1 reviewer is only one of couple who acknowledges Velotric quite a hack in raising prices, bike stores like my lical sell it already for more than $1,200 which will discourage a lot of public considering F1 and other Velotric ebikes. Too bad since main folder competition like Aipas A2, Lectric folder, step-thru, Ride1Up Portola folder (one of the best cadence sensors in this price range) are still holding their prices competitive, cheaper and way cheaper than Velotric now. Velotric will be looser price-wise, and they will find that soon. Now with its ramped price Velotric F1 will be compared and always favorable with the more established ebike brands in the price range above $1K. And in this not as favorable price range market they will be rather on the bottom. The price range market $1K and below is very different ebike market where before Velotric F1 shined. Do not get me wrong however, I just tested and purchased a blue Velotric F1, the last one left at my local bike shop, while Best Buy has still some online for sale, and if somebody get their store card can by Velotric F1 right now for less than bike stores with zero margins (not willing to give you even dollar discount) and less than Velotric own site, where F1 is sold out. Summer time, prime biking vacation season and ebike are getting more expensive again, after the steep dip in their price during Covid and after.
