When I did mine with the OEM parts I Dremeled one of the rear slots a bit wider and passed the connector through. A little black paint pen covered the raw aluminum. Then I bought some single side adhesive foam rubber and velcro sheets. I put a layer of foam rubber first to deaden any knocking around that could occur. And then the layer of soft velcro. I put hard velcro on the side of the battery (switch up) an laid it in the slide mount on its side... it doesn't move a touch. Love it. Thank for the content! Weight w/ kit 200lbs and I get 41mph on the flat in Off-road + Boost on the flat @ 70 degrees (Tannis Armor, cage, rack, lock, li-ion tire pump, Scorpion Exo ST1400 helmet). 12.2% grade hills I can still go 17mph... but that motor will get HOT. Still drops off (steps -down) in top speed and acceleration at 50% with the dual battery system. Separately, I also have a Garmin Varia Radar on the back which I love (lets me know when I need to check my mirrors). Oh, and the new cage has 3-digit locks on each side now. MUCH better. Rattles much less.

When I bought my Revv1, I also bought the storage case and an extra battery, which did NOT come with a mount tray. I’ve had it all for about 6 months, love it. Heard that you have to add a platform in the case in order to be able to install and remove the battery.

For those wondering, the stock ride1up revv1 battery with the dual battery converter rail will not fit in the storage cage, you would need to buy an aftermarket battery which would void your warranty.

Ty for your content. Is it just me or it seems like there is a good 2 to 3 inches lost with the huge cage for the controller? Love the dimensions on the extra battery u chose nice and flat. Does the foam board u put allow the battery to stay cool and breathing? Also just a thought is there a way to mount the phone some where on the top battery so it's a little more aerodynamic?

You can purchase a battery and blender form Ride1Up. If you’re going third party, you’ll void your warranty, but you’ll want to look for a UL Certified battery. The blender from Ride1Up is actually pretty reasonable, so I’d go with that.

What battery is this? 1Rideup doesn't seem to have batteries that size. Logo looks aftermarket too. Is this 20ah? The smaller size allowing for more storage space is an attractive option

Thanks for the very informative video. Since you've riden this bike and the Goat Bikes Power Goat, which one would you pick out of these 2? I've been looking at the Goat Power Motor Goat, but I like the style of the Revv1 more.
@RandyRides11 ай бұрын
That’s a hard decision tbh. They’re both great emopeds! Maybe I should do a side by side comparison video of them both… 🤔
@LeeAyzahn11 ай бұрын
@@RandyRides Yes, please do. Preferably before they raise the price on the Motor Goat again 🤣
@kingwolf1511 ай бұрын
A side by side comparison video of the two would be great👍. Is the Revv1 frame bigger then the Power Goat v3? Aka which has a bigger opening in the middle or the frame between the 2? Cause gonna add a big battery and what the most space possible. Also what size amp control is on the Revv1? The Power goat v3 is 50amp draw I do beleave
@Flyingaceful7 ай бұрын
I’m in the same situation. Can’t decide which one to get. Goat has more power but Rev1 looks way better.
@LeeAyzahn7 ай бұрын
@@Flyingaceful When you consider the amount of money you're paying for these machines, I would prefer performance over looks for the most part. I originally wanted the Motor Goat, but chose the Power Goat instead. Even though both models have the same specs, aside from a little more stock battery capacity, the Motor Goat does look more stylish compared to the Power Goat. But the Power Goat has more space in the middle of the frame for a bigger battery, hence more performance.

I was gonna go with a shark battery under there but this flat design makes more sense. What kind of battery 24ah/30ah. I saw another person ask a question and just want to make sure we are on the same page. So if both batteries are connected... and i hook up the stock battery to the top (stock) battery will both batteries charge at the same time?

No you need to charge them independently

I'm debating on getting the d.R.T , but I wish it was about five hundred dollars cheaper unless they would actually and come with a battery that's sufficient. Should be two thousand dollars tops and twenty five hundred. Is shouldn't be twenty five hundred dollars unless you can get at least thirty miles and forty mph
