I love these pouches and I learned a few tricks when making them. 1. A very pale grey/blue thread blends in better with the clear vinyl than white thread. 2. Rubbing alcohol wipes away any left over sharpie marks. 3. If you get crinkle marks in the vinyl when you turn it right sides out, use a hair dryer over the area and the marks completely disappears.

Thanks so much for these tips. I am deciding between the Juki TL2018QVP or the Janome HD9 and am still doing my "homework" so this was very helpful!

Hello Stacey Lee, loved watching your holiday video. The gardens were beautiful and you looked happy and relaxed. My question is, I have been making bowl cosies from your tutorial. Is it necessary to use a top stitch abound the edge. I am unable to get the stitching even. I am wondering if the cosies will be strong enough without. I have Parkinsons and am slowly getting back into sewing. It's my happy place. I am happy with the look of the cosies as I am giving them as gifts. Appreciate your advice. Lea from Australia 😊

Could you do this same process for a thinking binding? I’m looking to add a satin edge to a baby blanket for my son. Thank you for taking the time to make such a clear and thorough video - it’s really helpful for a newbie like me

Love it , have been thinking about making one for some time using the back as binding but wasn’t sure how to do the corners. Not sure if my machine would take the thickness may have to make it without interfacing. Are you using a heavy duty machine?
@alisav1954 күн бұрын
What kind of interfacing did you use? I never know what kind to get! Thank you! I LOVE this and want to make a bunch for Christmas!

I made one of these today and it turned out absolutely adorable! I was so nervous about the bias tape around the circle, but it was actually fairly simple! Very nice project for an intermediate! I will be making so many more during the holiday season!

Very easy to follow instructions. Only change I would make is to have the fabric to the left side of the needle rather than the right side. Too much bulk on the right side of the foot.
