I just grinded my whole day away. Just to be door camped by a hacker wearing only a hazmat. I went back with an LR and head shot him twice and he headshot me back with a python and took all the good stuff. It's annoying. And I stayed up all night getting that stuff. Now I have to go to work with no sleep and all my progress gone. FML. I even reported him. And there's nothing done about it. I even tried using my shotgun trap and he just walked up to it without it even going off at all. This is depressing. Makes me want to KMS because I can't even find happiness in my favorite games and my life is shit as is.

100% of rust streamers are cheating or talking about it. Their are basically no real non-cheating game play streamers of rusts not incuding people deal out the ban hammer.

Hackers with scrips/aim have gotten worse due to the recoil update because it is way harder to tell if someone had a good spray or is scripting because spray patterns are so much easier to control.

just MAC ban them and be done with it...they can buy another account but they cant buy another system entirely....please tell the devs to ban their mac address directly...

Considering how toxic and frustratingly difficult the game is, I can see how people resort to cheating. Its just not fun for anyone. Pvp isn't all what rust is, but it definitely is more profitable than other ways to play and is the most exploitable.

It is sad that this well-made video does not have way more views. Rust is close to being unplayable because of all of the cheaters. There's nothing worse than making an epic play just to lose it all to a cheater. If there weren't all the cheaters in rust, I would play a lot more. Instead, I get killed by a cheater and usually say f rust and cheaters and rage quite. Sometimes, for months, I even quiet for a year before. Ty for video

Before I quit this game im definitely gonna start cheating to spite these incompetent devs, get off your fat fucking asses and get some phone verification going.

I started playing rust on a softcore server and quickly became friends with all of my neighbors… after a few months of playing together one of these guys admitted to using scripts and sent the link to everyone… we all roasted him for it but a few of my teammates got significantly better days after the link was sent… we continued to play with the known scripter on and off for over a year and he was only banned after 1200 hours of game time… after admitting his cheats to us he would often have fun with it in chat and tell people he was cheating all the time… my other teammates that also downloaded the cheats were never banner playing the game to this day…. If the anticheat cant pick up 50% of the population then does it even work?

These are just the worst blatant cheaters. There's a lot out there better at hiding it. By streaming cheats from a separate computer you can hide cheats inputs from any anti cheat. Unfortunately rust, and games like TARKOV as shown by the wiggle that killed TARKOV video that came out by goat, are littered with cheaters. It's not a big deal in games like call of duty but It's devastating to lose a ton of progress on games like these. FPS genre is fucked

I learned real quick that the base designs you see on youtube are trash and nobody uses them ingame. Ingame you will see these crazy unpredictable bases then you hop on youtube and you get these basic noob bases that get raided day 1.

haha got the game on sale on steam for 26$ . ran into all of these in my first 40 hours. Was told to get good , buy a guy who got banned 2 mins later . He legit went to me in the dark , inside a building after I had stopped moving out of sight. Uninstalled , cried for my 40 hours wasted. And for the fact that i can't get a steam refund.

the big problem is these worthless hackers have disposable money to blow on new accts so they can keep getting in and ruin everyones experience. getting wrecked legit is one thing, but having a base raided by a hacker just makes me not want to spend any money on this game. and hackers, when everyone stops playing these games and they die....you wont have anywhere to get your tiny microegos stroked, because lets face it...hackers mothers wont even give them hugs......and it shows.

Played on a german server the last week, 4 of the 5 people i got killed by had VAC bans on steam, ive only got 35 hours in rust and my first server i got killed by 4 hackers, they had blatant aim bot and one had a speed hack.

This guy on a aim training server estwa still isn't banned for days I don't understand how he's so blatant and the anti cheat doesn't pick it up to this day there cheats are getting better game will die the anti cheat can't keep up

Cheating is so bad it's almost silently gaslighting me into insanity. Get into a few good fights on a server. Some back and forth shots and normal movement. Then I get into a fight were I get double or trippled in a matter of seconds, with things like bows and crossies or revvys. Instantly think: "That guys hacking" Then I take a step back thinking, "Maybe I'm not that good and hes just way better." I'm not the kind of guy to alt tab to look up his account. Run back asap with another kit, find the guy, get the jump on him but then get instantly doubles or tripples me again. I'm I that bad? Is he that good? Is he cheating? The world will never know.
