Mario was not their maintenance man or plumber. Nintendo America had a commercial space in the Segale Business Park in Tukwila, Wa during the time of development of Donkey Kong. As you indicated they had no official name for him yet until one day their landlord Mario Segale walked through the door and they decided to call him Mario. I worked for Mario for 10 years and he was a very successful business man worth millions of dollars. He is probably turning over in his grave after being referred to as a maintenance man or plumber. Donkey Kong was and is my favorite game of all time.

Hang-On is so underrated ....especially for the MASSIVE hit it was in the late 80s

The 2600 version actually has the coolest sound, especially when you break through the top and the points rack up, causing the brick break sounds to repeat rapidly. Even cooler is how you can choise the sound, notes you want before starting by repeatedly pressing the Reset switch.

I went to the Underground Retrocade last Friday and tried out that busted Fix-It Felix Jr. cabinet with the two joysticks and you actually play with the left joystick for one player. I played it and I actually beat the high score on it.

Has anyone wished that the hot dog, egg & pickle were randomly dumb until you started the next level crossing 10,000 points? By 50,000 points you better have mastered all-round strategy to keep burgering. Starts with 15 pepper doses, earning 1 extra pepper for every 4 - 6 burgers assembled depending on layers during gameplay and the enemy foods never bunch together.? 🍔 😋

When I first started to watch this video, I have never thought about having the original Pac-Man hiddin in this special arcade cabinet through the years it has been around. Now that I have understood the code and found a local machine and have to get the quarters to play that specific game and learn well to play this iconic classic even after Pac-Man made it through 40 years.

The best way to do the chain level is to do them in order starting with the left. Bring each key up to the lock in order. You'll complete the level much faster and get more bonus points.

The Environmental cab is my favorite of all Time! It’s hard to think of a better cab for the single player experience than this because I have other “Favorites” like Gyruss, SNK’s Prehistoric Isle and Donkey Kong 3 but this blows or “Derezzes” them away! 🤣🤪😎 The only other arcade cab that could be better is 6 player X-Men! 🤩

In the 80's our local Arcade would do a "lock in" around mall closing time. Where parents could drop you off and pay one fee for unlimited games. Was basically a way for parents to go watch a movie while the Arcade baby sat their rug rats. You could not leave until parents came to get you (except for restroom breaks which was escorted by mall security because it was after hours and restrooms were across from arcade in the mall). People would stake out their favorite games, most fought to get gauntlet place, or star wars. For me this was it. I lived in this cabinet every friday 5-6th grade. To a kid it was like being in the tron movie.
