at the moment, my entire KZbin feed consists of political media (USA election) which constantly stresses me and reminds me of the dividing polarization of people who should be working towards unity. I do not have the vocabulary to properly express how happy this video of a lovely British bloke having the time of his life filming beautiful wild creatures brings me. I wish all aspects of my life could reflect the atmosphere of this video, thank you very very much for your content and this wonderful reminder of the beauty in this absurd existence.

I saw a muntjac yesterday in Billesley Birmingham, my hubby was working at a house there and it backs into this little patch of woodland and nature area and I thought that’s either a huge cat or a medium sized dog as I saw it move and then I saw what it was 🥰😍❤️❤️❤️❤️ it made my week! Then when it was dark a fox came past 🥰❤️❤️

I saw an odd looking deer but passed it off as a muntjac, after reviewing my photos I am fairly sure that's it's a CWD. Was around Milton Keynes so not too far from Bedfordshire at all.

Too bad about the bittern, mentioned this before but try Lee valley nature reserve. The lee valley discovery centre, also called the Bittern hide, is in my opinion the best place to see Eurasian Bitterns in the United kingdom. The reeds bed is small, in three sections and only a couple of meters in front of the hide.

We have some Muntjac in our village, I see one or two on my walk, in wooded/well vegetated areas, they can be pretty difficult to spot with the colours and foliage, but I always catch a glimpse. They’ve been seen at my local church graveyard and have also been free’ed from been trapped in fences twice now!

I see quite a few deer around the lakes/rivers in northamptonshire mostly muntjac/roe/fallow. Beavers are being released at Rushden Lakes, I've never seen one in the wild, could be worth you doing a visit. Love seeing Kingfishers, Woodpeckers & birds of prey but very rarely do these days except red kite, owls etc. As a keen angler I'm quite lucky as i get to see quite a few animals in the countryside (Nene Valley) that i don't see in my town (Northampton), for me i enjoy seeing these as much as i do catching fish. Harlestone firs & Delapre Abbey both have alot of mixed wildlife, including white squirrels.

Welcome to Norfolk brotha. I walked over that exact train crossing just 2 days ago wish I saw u man😢 spotted something big in the hedge on the left soon as you go past the fence at the entrance to the broads. Not sure what it was cuz it was dark but it god spooked by me and dashed into the water

I'm not educated enough to know the impact of different non-native species introduction but it is cool to me there are wallabies, water deer and parrots around the UK. The reintroduction and assisting the spread of rare but once numerous native species to the UK, should be a priority.

What’s on your list you haven’t seen?
@CreatureChroniclesUK2 ай бұрын
@WildlifeWithCookie so many 😂 up the top of my list are things like smooth snakes, luckily they mainly live around my area.. beavers, otters, weasels, polecats, bitterns, cranes, hoopoe to name a few... I've found about 130 different species in roughly 6 months though including some bangers like nightjar, adders, spoonbill, white tailed eagles, short eared owls and recently wild boar!

Cley Marshes good for Bittern Cookie also closer to home Brandon Marshes. Cley also great for Bearded Tits and Chinese Water deer. Strumpshaw is a Mecca for Swallowtail Butterfly in the summer and Kelling Heath brilliant for Nightjars. Norfolk is my go to place as well for wildlife and I’ve been visiting and staying in the area, especially North Norfolk for over 50 years.
