I agree that olive skin is not an undertone, it is the color of someone’s skin, but it can absolutely have a warm undertone. Not all olive skin is cool. And olive skin can come in any shade from fair to deep. There is so much misinformation about olive skin out there .

I think with a lot of poc women who have a warm overall skin tone but may have undertones that are subjective e.g- neutral / warm leaning or cool leaning, (think Salma Hayek) they can pull off a lot of colours, I agree that the she was pulling off the first colour palette. However, stylists pick a persons colours by asking themselves the question: Am I drawn into this persons face or their outfit ? And the rich colours at the end (for me) drew me into her face and made her radiant overall, instead of the first one where I was more so looking at the colours than *her*. We see this with Zendaya who has definitely pulled off pinks but her beauty (her face) just shines in browns and earthy tones. In this video were you first drawn into her face, or the colours for the first palette ??

I have a cool undertone (I have some green veins but A LOT of blue and purple veins) with yellow overtone when I tan and I guess that makes me look a little olive but idk man I feel like greenish mauvish makeup made for "olive" or "cool" tone looks terrible on me BUT at least it doesn't look as bad as when I wear warm tone. Wearing warm tone colours really make me look like an off-brand barbie. Orange tinted anything are seriously THE WORST for me. That being said, cool tone colours also look terrible on me since when I use cool tone suddenly my lips always looks too warm since those made for eye looks tend to be super grey. I try to stick to dark winter season colour makeup since my skin is rather light most of the time so my yellow when tanned doesn't show up so much these days but goddamn this was HARD..

You are beautiful and the outfit is beautiful. Maybe I’d like to see you try it with a less basic shirt (maybe some sort of collar? Even no shirt is better than this black block imo) and tights that have a bit of a pattern, such as small polka dots. That is, if you keep these shoes. Super oomphy would be keeping the vertical (as they say in Kibbe lingo), and play on the silver from top to bottom. Hair I’d like to see shorter or in an updo ^.^🎉🎉🎉
