Why is the color analysis done with her hair uncovered and makeup on? I checked, and her natural hair color is not quite the same. Doesn't it influence the results at all?

Usually people say Zooey is a bright Winter. Interesting to see that she’s a true. I’d love to see more of the analysis with more of the drapes, if it was a longer analysis. The silver drape did the same to me. Threw silver up onto my face and it made me look gray. The gold did the same, thre gold up, but it made me look healthier. Still not totally right tho. I was typed as ‘winter’ and Clear and Cool by two different people.

I think true winter makes sense when you consider neighbouring seasons. She can wear bright and cool winter which are next to true winter, but she's too cool for bright spring which is next to bright winter.

@@Carina_Rose it wouldn’t look good on me 😄 I know that just by knowing how my colouring reacts. The two Italian colour analysis ladies recently did a video on metals which was really interesting

@@user-cv4nk4tr3b it does make sense. I think I’m the same in terms of being able to do the mid depth rich blues, very slightly warmed white and taupe but not anything really warm such as even a slightly coral pink or slightly yellow green.

When I compare the Korean color analysis to everyone else’s, it’s interesting what Korean analysts say. They look for less definition in your face as proof that is the right color. More glow, less definition. I think this was a great color analysis. However, I wonder what Zooey would get over in Korea?

I think in the Korean system they are looking for less shadows on the face (like under eyes, rough skin texture, weird shadow cast) not necessarily less definition for your features. I think your features are still expected to harmonize with the color. Not pop too much but also not too faded and look gray.

Probably not if you’re wearing the correct foundation because foundations are made to work with cool and warm undertones just as the clothes do.

Same here, but I actually got typed as winter first and it was not great. Black washes me out. Then I got typed as a summer and actually that works so much better on me!

She is 44 now! I think she looks great; her cheeks don’t look sunken, and she has always had nice cheekbones but we all lose fat in the cheeks naturally as we age. She’s gorgeous.

@@faegibb4043 she might not have. I tend to assume that celebrities have when they start to look a bit different, because plastic surgery is just so commonplace for them. I still lean towards that because she suddenly looks younger to me, but who knows 🤷‍♀️

It's a good analysis since she's a celebrity with many photos to back up the results and compare to, but because that backlog of her known images almost always has the same kind of hair color and makeup combination, it's really only an analysis of what her facade is. So I have to agree with the many other comments asking about her makeup, hair, and even the setting in that very warm looking room. I have a feeling she could have either been cooler or brighter without those modifiers that make her evened out and "camera ready" overall. Her natural haircolor would especially give a biiiiig clue to her natural saturation level.

I found out silver looked horrible one day painting my toe nails. It looked like I could step into a Claire's ad from 2005! Tacky. I look good in charcoal, black, or rose gold. That's how I knew Cool Summer was wrong for me. I disappeared into a gray ghost. Lol.

Any tips for how normies can figure this out? Also yay! This is the first time I’ve been able to see legitimate differences between shades and how they automatically brightened her skin. All know is I look good in teal, salmon, and jewel tones. I can’t figure out red. White makes my teeth look yellow, esp white earrings. All the lavenders I’ve tried wash me out.
