Hey Laurie!!! Hope all is well! Love how real you are! I'm currently working as a home health nurse, and it is so true about the push back! So many patients go back and forth from home to the hospital because of insurance issues! I come from the icu and it has been a learning experience to say the least! Hey! I loved the vlog, girl! Your tree and decor are beautiful. I admire your attention to detail 💚 I believe that there are definitely some situations that healthcare professionals try to get over on people. It is hard to determine when they are legit vs. going for the money grab though. As a nurse, you know we are taught what is normal/abnormal. So I’m sure that they may have protocols and policies in place to research the cause of the abnormalities. They may have a liability on their hands if they don’t make the proper referrals, and something bad happens down the line. So individuals have to hear their spill, and decide for themselves whether or not they will follow up as recommended. I look forward to your next vlog, and for us to hang out soon! ❤

@fromcnatonp his actions will not change the system. I'm sure there's a new CEO ready to take over anytime now. But, his actions have united both sides of the political aisle on a collective detest of the healthcare industry. The unity of the American people is the greatest fear of the elite.

@@fromcnatonpplenty of people are outraged over the death of the CEO, maybe you’re just not seeing it, but Susiq is right, if you’re more outraged over the CEO dy¡ng than the people that d¡ed because of his companies’ policies then I would also question your awareness of what people are actually going through everyday when dealing with their health and healthcare. You’re an NP so I feel like you should know but maybe not 🤷🏽♀️. Anyway, I care much more about the disadvantaged many than I do about the privileged few.

I don't live in the U.S. anymore, so I can't judge anything or anyone in the health care or insurance system there now, but the killing of that CEO, or of any person, was wrong. I totally agree with you, I have my program director who’s a physician assistant for neurology fellowship would always say’ I do not know why NPs are not well prepared in the school and he would always put me down in my heart I always said inside my heart that I agree with you but its not my fault and I have 60k student loan

Why are the EMR systems like pcc and ecw so combersum and cluncky? I just started about a month ago and the two emr systems are such a turn off. Finding information in them is just so antiquated that I sometimes feel paralized and just have these breathing sessions where I'm feeling like I want to scream into a pillow or something. Its stiffling and makes me soooo slow at the charting. Am I alone in this thinking?
