@@mfree9202 listen to music or catch up on some KZbin. When recording stuff always kept busy too. If you have a fire or stove, gathering wood etc. I hardly sit still sometimes. 👍 Thanks for watching. 👀

@@BubbaWhite-indie never experienced this on other camps. Have taken the blow torch to the outsides su just need to do a hot burn and use a section at a time to clear in inside 👍

HI just stumbled across your latest video, very good, looks super cosy. Interestingly I've also got the Pomoly T1 mini but mine has a glass side panel, i think its a great wee stove, enjoy your dram. keep camping.

@ I could be wrong 😂 It has been known. My friend has a Pomoly mini stove, 2 windows , think it’s a 0.6mm construction but don’t think Amazon lost it as having a name. POMOLY don’t sell that actual one on their website anymore.

Nice wee video, Cowal is such a forgotten part of Scotland but its beautiful sitting on the Clyde estuary. I've camped a few times up by Otterferry, don't know if that is still Cowal. lovely part of the country. Looked cold but was interested in the wee heater you have. As a maturing person I think that I could be doing with something like that on my winter camps, always love seeing new things that I think could be useful to me. Thank you for the video.

That’s a tidy wee set up you’ve done. Been thinking of building a wee unit like that for myself actually. Makes for quite a wee change of a video actually. Bet you’re bursting already for the clocks to change. It’s Thursday or nothing for me this week and the weathers just brutal by the looks of it.

@@Moffatmountainadventures was great setting up, so simple. Save faffing about with a tent 😂 Just a bit cramped but doable. Stealthy 😂 I was out last night with the hot tent, just recovering. Aye the weather window looks poor unfortunately. Get yersel in the boot of the car. 😂

Great video, good to see and hear your views on the little Bobcat-1 tent. 🙌🏻 I’ve had one for the last 3 years now, it’s how I started my wild camping journey! However, I now have 5 other tents to keep my camps more interesting and varied, all fairly reasonably priced ones.. The only trouble now is that although I have 3 other 1-man tents, the Bobcat is the smallest of these by far! So I will now only use mine without the inner tent inside, as I just find it way too cramped! It’s way bigger just used as a tarp/single-skin shelter, I use a ground-sheet cut to the shape of the inner. I much prefer using it in this format, not as much bug protection now though - but I have cut the pole a little shorter as well, so that the fly comes all the way down to the ground. I will also only now use it when the temp drops below 7 degrees. It’s surprising how light it is without that inner tent, mine now tops the scales (without pegs) at 1,270g. ⛺️ 👍🏻

@@Ash12530 sounds a great setup with the modifications and removing the inner. I’ve been out and used the Bobcat 6 or 7 times. Last week in -2.5. I like it for the small footprint and the whole front door opening lets you enjoy the scenery better. I’m out again now , but out in the hot tent trying out a new to me stove. Thanks for watching and comment, much appreciated. I won’t use the Bobcat in midge season, being stuck in the wee inner trying to lock them out would burst me. Deffo a wee autumn / winter tent for me. 👍

@@IvanDP1967 cheers. It worked well, no wind so could feel the heat off it. Not great but made a difference. Sat out till 23:30 so was bearable with some layers on. 👍 Thanks for watching 👀

@cowalexplorer yeah probably a wise decision staying in the pickup . Was just local at Loch Lomond, didn't want to risk going further , was supposed to be camping up the lost valley , then aberfeldy but had to cancel both locations due to the storm .

@ wise choice. The drive from where I was, south of Loch Ba to Tyndrum was mental. Lost Valley would have been pitch, only been there once after doing the munro above it.

Time to order an awning. 🤔Whisky went down well. 😂 aye the two boys stopped to give me a hand. Had to pull it up the bank before pulling round as it was snagged up.

You are lucky there is no wildlife in your area. In Québec, if i cook in my tent, black bears will show up during the night for sure. We always have to hide the food at least 50 meters from where we sleep and never eat in the tent.

Scottish nature is really stunning even it was vastly devasted in the past by logging and most native trees were chopped down. Slowly but surely trees r being replanted and nature returns back to what it once was 👏

@ aye, I see that. The 20D lighter. I like the heavier material think it’d retain heat better but probably not that much difference to be honest.

A wee 15-20 mins with the heater just takes the edge off. My last camp was lovely, sat watching some tv with the heater going. Had it up to 20 degrees at one point when i stuck it on full blast. Cheers for the birthday shout out. Gutted I didn’t make it out this week. Hopefully making up for it next week

@@Moffatmountainadventures great for a pre sleeping bag heat, or to thaw out. Think I used half that big bottle, cooked 4 bits of steak before that though. Still cheaper than a bag of logs 😂 Hope you get out again soon, mind you’re that bit older 😂🥃

@@GeoffGreenawayOutdoors cheers Geo, it’s usually three bits in the pack, that one had four, could see through them they were that thin 😂 Nightlapse , 30 second exposure with auto interval. That wee heater was worth it, get a heat before bed time. 😂
