What’s funny is I never watched One Piece and felt I was way too far behind to watch it. But once I watched the live action, I craved more. So I started the anime and thought it was decent. It wasn’t mind blowing until I reached Water Seven/Enies Lobby. After that I got that “I get it now” thought. I have since then have caught up completely, including the manga. Absolutely life warping series and I’m glad I finally took the plunge.

People think Superman is boring because he wins every boss battle. Superman's best scenes aren't even fights, they're saving people like the infamous plane rescue and catching someone when falling from a high place or catching crumbling debris and holding it long enough for people to escape or boxing in an explosion with creative use of his powers. The best Superman movie wouldn't have a climax that's a hero vs villain showdown. It would have all of Metropolis in absolute chaos and Superman trying to be everywhere at once and somehow, SOMEHOW saving the day against all odds and that shit is so hype andi don't know why modern films don't take full advantage of today's special effects to show Superman holding the city together all by himself, saving everyone from all the crazy disasters and the STILL stopping the bad guys at the end. It would be PERFECT.

It would be perfect to see the 03 team, but I like the idea of them establishing the worlds that the Justice League members live in before all of their solo films. I think something like a Young Justice lineup works the best for this universe because the characters are supposed to be established. While it seems too early for Wonder Girl or Superboy, it widens the world their mentors live in. We could see Flash in the movie as a mentor to Kid Flash or Impulse before his own movie. Same for Aquaman and Green Arrow. Speedy’s arc in YJ would be dope to see in live action or an else world. Great vid btw! Edit: Since it doesn’t seem like the DCEU doesn’t seem to know what to do with Blue Beetle, he could fill in the Black Canary role from YJ as the trainer/leader.

I think it would be really cool if every now and then Ravager flashes elements of Nightwing’s fighting style as a reference to him training her. She would have her own distinct style, but every now and then she’ll do a particularly acrobatic flop or kick and you’ll point at the screen and go “oh yeah. I know who showed her how to do that.”

Great video, great pitch, good direction. That roster made me squint my eyes icl...especially with Supergirl. But it's whatever, it's not my main point. There's tons of discussion on this movie but so many ignore the concept of legacy which I think is as important as the whole 'teenage' thing. Everything's an origin story, there's no growth, no lore, no history. EVERYONE wants them to be teenagers...but they want Dick to be Nightwing..but they want the 03 show at the same time. I really do a flashback movie would feel regressive, especially when we have the opportunity to make spin-offs later down the line.

I personally think that Tim Drake could be the Teen Titans Robin since he hasn’t really found an identity after Robin. The only thing that wouldn’t line up is Starfire and Dick. Maybe Starfir could be older compaired to the rest of the Titans or Dick could be pretty Young, Starfire could leave the Titans and mett Dick.

I LOVE DAMIAN 🗣️🗣️🗣️ God forbid there’s a Robin that needs to learn & grow as a character instead of being pre packaged with every trait they’ll ever have. Tim, Jason, Dick, they all have concrete motivations & opinions that have mostly stayed the same for their entire tenure. Damian is my favorite because he’s incredibly imperfect.

good video. hearing the All Star Superman story makes me want to read it. I've only read one Superman comic, which I then gave away to a someone when I was still in school. I never thought Superman was boring. I've always been more of a Spider-Man guy personally as a kid. now more Teen Titans and Young Justice. I did watch a fair share of the Teen Titans cartoon. because of episodes I still have on dvd. then started reading their comics a few years ago. same with Young Justice. I watched the show later on. it's funny how people say with Superman there's no stakes or couldn't feel them. yet there's Deadpool and Wolverine who can't die. they will heal from everything lol.

I've only seen x2, Last Stand, Origins, The Wolverine, Apocalypse, Logan, Deadpool 1(I'm pretty sure I think I've seen it), Deadpool 2, and Deadpool and Wolverine. it's hard cuz I've only seen them in theaters or on tv. some like Logan and I believe the Wolverine only part of as well. I will say Deadpool and Wolverine right now is my favorite. the funniest parts was the parallel parking and Gambit "what's up doc" part. however even just thinking of other parts of the movie makes me laugh. I recently rewatched first class and I didnt like it too much tbh though the last 1/3 was great. Deadpool 1 and X2 are probably my favorites.

I haven't seen literally any of these aside from all the Deadpool movies and Deadpool and Wolverine - and honestly even if I didn't get the comic jokes and references, the movie was still funny as fuck and the cinema I was in roared at every other joke (which is impressive since it had translated subtitles). The cartoon tomfoolery of two "immortal" characters beating each other up in really bloody ways was just a hilarious dynamic to witness. Also I lost my mind every time Gambit was on screen, he was fucking awesome!!

I would put x3 higher but purely because it was funny and that makes it more bearable to watch then the boring ones

Honestly i had been put off by the overuse of tropes at first, but the more i got into the show the more yped it made me. I want to see more bertie and mikey and andy, and yeah, even craig. As someone who prides themselves on blaming writers for bad characters, rather than the characters themselves (insert gripes with legend of korra due to inconsistent writing) I have to stay consistent and base my issues with superman on who writes him. Now this isn't to say I still don't find much of his character bland and his incredible power still being a negative for me. MAWS superman is by far my favorite version so far because he's such a quirky boy, I like the guy. Idk it just felt like all the do nice things you can, and be a role model can be applied to anyone. Like Spiderman, or the flash. Heck capt. America is basically street level superman in terms of role model status. I just like cap more because he's a street level dude. I appreciate superman as a metaphor, and everyone should follow the example superman sets, but like you said, he's just the basic layout of a hero to go off of before you add more personality and flavor to your own heroic character.

I apologize, but even after watching the video and reading his better comics…I’m not sure I can really get behind Superman, but don’t get me mistaken I completely understand how important and impactful he is, to be honest he inspires me just a tiny bit. I like that he is a paragon of hope itself and represents the best of humanity, but even when I acknowledge how not boring he is, I feel a bit held back towards liking him. I’ve felt that way about heroes for a long time despite having a hero phase. My ideal “hero” is Sonic The Hedgehog, I grew up with the blue thing and he’s always been a shining beacon in my life similar to how Superman has been for other kids my age when I was little. He’s like Superman but if made into a cocky short blue hedgehog. Maybe there’s other comics I need to read, or maybe I’m missing something, but maybe I’ll keep trying, I do want to like him..I just can’t.
