I was waiting for this. Don't ever deny an infinite GOD in an infinite universe. It's self defeating. I grew in the 70s and 80s. Cumminion confirmation. My dad ,uncles all addicts. Started doing time in the 80s. Drugs, jails, violence everything that came with it. Wasn't til I was involved up front personal. The blood scared me brother. Most proven book in history. Everything has a purpose.

Good video Rascal! I accepted Christ as my savior when I was fighting my case in juvenile hall. He came into my life but i still ended up with a life sentence. He never left me throughout my incarceration. Even when i got involved in fights and riots. I had to learn and grow. Praise God im free, off parole and living life.

I never went to prison, but I lost my way after losing some loved ones and went to the military. God was relentless in putting ppl in my path to bring me back, no matter how hard ran. Anyway, I grew up Catholic w/ my Grandparents, and later took more of a basic Christian route as an adult. I’m not perfect, as none of us are; sadly being a Christian can be difficult, because those that claim the title can be some of the ugliest humans of all. All we can do is our best to keep the Christian face in good standing.

Agree homie and thanks for sharing. I rarely use the term “Christian” because it seems more of a political identity than a spiritual one and I too have an issue w/ a lot of the loudest voices representing the title

Excellent video, love this topic.having a relationship with a creator isn’t some square shit. All warriors throughout time believed in something. A god a, creator , a deity, or many gods. There is a certain type of person, a mid-wit. The middle of the the bell curve diagram who thinks they are smarter than, more rational ,More intelligent ,that look down on people with faith. I don’t know much about the Bible, I wasn’t raised with any religion in my family. My parents were punk rock metal head teenagers. So very against organized religion.And I only recently have become very open to religion even looked into Islam myself. I believe that it does more good than bad in my own life. And I’m sure it would do good in other people‘s lives too if they were open to it. Sorry for the rant just like to wanted t get a few things off my chest. Salute 🫡 🙏💪☝️

I love the rant don’t trip - it made more sense than a lot of the ones I get 😂 Yeah organized religion is problematic to me - and in its most common American forms is not consistent w/ the models built when these belief systems were formed or organized.. yet being in an inviting community with like minded people has real value so IDK. I think for most people it’s a matter of who / what they are exposed to at a time when the soil is ripe as opposed to one belief system being superior to another. I figure as long as what you believe does not include hurting innocent people then more power to you 💯 Your parents sound like they made for an interesting household growing up 😂

Well, this probably won't be a very popular comment but, to me, believing in "god" is like having an imaginary friend. Things that exist can be demonstrated to exist and don't require faith.
@HOMIEHangout

I respect it - and you certainly aren’t alone in those thoughts 💯 I don’t agree w/ what many Christians in particular, and people of faith generally, say about Creation and science - for me it’s a personal choice and as long as what someone believes isn’t causing harm to others I say to each their own

This a great video but I gotta ask… is the way you came out considered coming out with your “balls in a the book”🤔 (I ask because I never been locked up but I seen a lot of people come back to Chole from prison having found God)
@HOMIEHangout
@HOMIEHangout 2 сағат бұрын
So that was the first I'd ever heard that description LOL but I don't think so. Many people participate in some form of spiritual learning while incarcerated - what they do with that varies tho. I never forgot I was incarcerated and had responsibilities as a convict for as long as I remained a convict. I signed off on a Northerner who identified as a Christian getting blasted in SVSP because he didn't respect the program or felt it didn't apply to him. Some use their professed faith as a shield or a security blanket - and I'm sure sometimes it is authentic and other times its cowardice - it's really up those he is accountable to to determine how they take it. For me there was no program change - I was in the SHU - it was more so about when I came home and what I was going to do then
