Yo Rascal, I’m 37, and that alcohol withdrawal is NO JOKE. I’m never going back to drinking. Thank you for your content too.

Great spill! I also had my struggles with alcohol. I'm going on 4 yrs in feb. I couldn't stop until I took a shot in my hip. I now have clarity as they say. Sobriety is the reason I started my channel. I can't stand the old person I was when I drank. If I think about drinking, I remember all the problems I had with it. Keep pushing, Sobriety . I'm trying to get all races of homies sober.

I'm proud of the fact that you're willing to share with us some of the darkest times of your life. Most content creators are too busy bragging about how bad and perfect they are. You're doing this not to look weak but hopefully to help others. To me that's GANGSTER! THANKS HOMIE.

Last time I talked to him about what these KZbin creators talked about. He told me it doesn't bother him. He said," bro, the ones who know,know!" "The ones that don't, won't believe you anyways." So basically he doesn't care what people who don't know him think about him. His homies in ADX know who he really is.

What’s up brother, I’m 59, coming up on one year, in February, and I’ve been feeling really good about my decision to stop drinking, best thing that happened is that I lost almost 20lbs, that really helped my overall health, i.e., blood pressure, knee pain, and just overall mood. Thanks for the info, God bless!

🫡 it’s really kinda fascinating, and scary, just how bad for our bodies alcohol is .. aside from the addiction component or people acting up when intoxicated it’s just not *good* for us at all

Hey Josh. Thank you for being so vulnerable. I think this is something we need to talk about a lot more. I think it's important and I'm glad that you put out these types of videos. You know, my struggle. I've been out of the life 26 over 26 years now and I'm gonna sober over 19. It's a long journey and it's not easy. But I wanna let you know.Thank you for doing all of these videos.Even the one that was done today about tapering versus cold turkey called turkey ain't fun Always much. Respect

I used to drink so much i was scared to get a car and get a dui. 6 hurricane tallboys a day for almost ten years. Idk what happened but i slowly and subconsciously chilled out. I babysit one or 2 for like 10 hours. I realized this a month ago and have been saving up to put a down payment on a nice car

Burroughs had an interesting take on tapering, of course his drug of choice was opiates but i think the opinion rolls over to any drug, he said the addict will always find a reason for an xtra or early dose . I have found this to be absolutely true for myself & others i know that have tried. That being said we now know that alcohol & benzos are xtremely dangerous to quit cold.

I've been on suboxon for 3 years now. I've tried to relapse 3 times. I say tried because the opiate receptors aren't receptive. So I couldn't get high. All recommend by my drug and alcohol councilor. But essentially, I'm physically dependent on the suboxone. It's not anywhere near the withdrawal as heroine. It's not walk in the park though. They would taper me off gradually if I asked them. They leave it up to me. If we decided I'm low risk of relapse. We will. Im only mentioning this, because you mentioned people never tapering off methadone. That is different from suboxon. But, it can be used in the same fashion. So i understand the point, and am in no way disregarding it. It's a fair point. The way the clinics see it. (Unless you wanna get conspiratorial) is its safer, healthier, and better for the community. If the heroine addict is on medically assisted treatment for as long as nessasary. Rather than out chasing the dragon. I just wanted to put that out there. Thanks for sharing your story. saludos con respeto

Quitting gonna hurt. But necessary. Our bodies are not made to sustain foreign liquids so it will adapt. You have to reverse the process. Kicking heroin and methadone after a few year run was a MO FO! Didn't sleep for a month.

Unfortunately you need drugs to get off drugs.. Tapering off is always better with the help of something else whatever that may be that’s how I’ve always done it if I partied too much and over done it with a variety of substances now I’ve been sober from everything for 15 years but I honestly feel worse and have had more health problems but being a single father I have to live the sober life..Good advice bro

My family made me quit alchohol cold turkey. Intervention style, and they said cold turkey. They tried to take me to a rehab, but they took my heart rate at intake and it was already so high from withdrawals that they called an ambulance and I went to the hospital. I don't know what all they did at the hospital, they released me after a few hours after they got my heart rate down. They released me to a family members care, they couldn't force me to say. I ended up being able to get someone to sneak me alchohol, I couldn't drive to get some because I was having massive hallucinations and was flopping about from violent shakes. Do yourself a favor, get serious if you want to quit and taper off. I was trying to quit abruptly due to life complications, quitting from 1 bottle hard liquor per day, and your body just cant take going to 0. But at the same time, when your tapering off and have those few drinks your allowed, nothing seems more important than getting some more. That was quitting from 15 years daily drinking till you pass out.
@HOMIEHangoutКүн бұрын
Props to your family for the spirit of the intervention even if they didn't quite have the process right but most of all salute to you for saving your life.

Man appreciate this video , one of the main reasons I want to slow down on drinking , besides the damage to my body ,the waste of money and the unhealthy relationship is , I get that emotional drunk where I'm sending wild texts to toxic females that I don't like but I still text them crazy Simp shit and it's not healthy for my personal relationships or in general . I can't tell you the amount of drunk texts I've sent these past couple months to women who I know don't have my best interests at heart . Appreciate you homie !
