What’s good Rascal? I send mines. This video makes a lot of solid points and the end message is positive, I respect that. In my case When I made the conscious decision to stop gang baging “ because I matured and out grew it” I made it a point to change mentally and the way I carried myself. I don’t use words like Holmes, firme ect or wear the cholo style outfits because to me acting and wear the style seems like your saying it’s ok or it’s a positive thing. Some people think it’s a dress up thing without ever really the lifestyle. I wanted to be a member of society and carry myself accordingly. My apologies for the essay.

No apology necessary - it’s welcome commentary. I have been around people who make choices like you and some who embrace the exterior style and customs but reject the criminal aspect. Personally I don’t think one is right or wrong it just depends on the individual and if it works for you more power to you 💯

I always said that too" be proud of where your from but theres no need to hate others just cause they from were your from" .... Im not a hater. Ive always been a individual to treat others with respect until they showed me otherwise. Im from the north but i ran into SS'ers growing up, thru other people and there was always a mutual respect and noone ever got out of order. It tough me there respect for others when theres a common party(friend) involved.

OK, Had to take down my initial comment, on second thought once you typed Sf/bay. Down here when we used to hear up north, right away we were thinking about farm towns. Yes in that X era ( late 80's/ early 90's) ( we around the same age, give or take 1 yr.) 12 - 15 yr. olds weren't using the bigger caliber/higher capacity fuscas. For the most part they were dumping with 22.,32.38. revolvers/ 380. here and there they would get their carnals 9./ tech 22. W/banana. Now the 16 yr. olds and older vatos, were Strapped to say the least. When did the No red on red come into play? Now that I see that it did apply up north( gangbangin) Then and Definitely Now, gangbangin was nowhere as bad up north as down here, MO.

Yeah I think the culture in the inner city streets of CA was pretty similar regardless of North or South and the culture in the smaller towns was similar across the board. LA gang banging especially in the Black community looked different compared to the Bay Area so that probably made a difference in terms of sophistication. We had hoods and projects and they were killing each other, and I don’t have the personal experience to make a clear comparison, but common sense would suggest that dynamic probably meant LA was ahead of the curve a bit. Plus it’s just a big ass city 😂

I’m not doing Rascal Reacts - focused on being consistent and building up this channel. Have some videos over there that I think is good content tho so moving it over here. I did on a Live .. I think it’s amusing that as a society we say we have our Constitutional right to privacy and we don’t like all this “Big Brother” etc but then we see some drones and because we don’t know exactly why they are there or what they are up to we go to the politicians and law enforcement for answered and when they claim not to have one we throw a fit 😂 In our ignorance is fear and in our fear we are willing to throw the Constitution out the window just to know what that guy over there is up to .. but let us be that guy over there and in our comfort we are arrogant and scream it’s none of your business.

I commend you guyz for tryin ! But have you noticed ( im sure you hav ) theres no teenagers on utube flying same flags as you guyz ? I’d be willing to bet in your teenage & younger years there was at least one older person in the neighborhood that was talking sense, maybe more than 1 & you guys didnt listen , kids today really aren’t smarter than you guys, the only thing thats changed is technology . Again i credit you guyz for trying & hopefully you continue & i’m not ignoring the fact that you have saved some kids in trouble but thts after the fact right. I’m wondering how you would attempt prevention which i believe is the true cure. Your doin good work. Have you heard of the peace treaty End To Hostilities agreement, the thing all these prison influencers not anti prison influencers discredit. It’s lower gang violence to record low levels in prison. It’s also responsible for organizing the Fx3 and 60’s crips peace treaty and organizing several warring black and Latino gangs to begin peace talks with their rivals. These alleged prison gang leaders are directly working with grassroots activists to curve gang violence, unlike the prison influencers who think a boxing match between rats is gonna stop the youngsters 😅

Appreciate the comment and support. It’s true there are virtually no teenagers who watch out content let alone those in the lifestyle. All adults who watch have a circle of influence tho and sometimes that includes younger knuckleheads so in a sense what we express can make it back to them albeit second or third hand. More often I think this is just some mix of encouragement, entertainment, and information for us adults from or somewhat interested with the lifestyle we come from. True “prevention” comes before a person is influenced by gangs and criminal thinking - so that’s a very young age. After that it’s all “intervention” even tho some are further down the path of self destruction than others. If ai talk to a kid the day before he is set to be out on his hood or I talk to a kid when he is in juvenile hall facing a murder or I talk to an adult doing time or a 40 yr old who just paroled and is trying to figure it out .. that’s all intervention. I’ve done much more intervention than prevention in my professional career tho some of that intervention has manifested into prevention for the homeboys kids as they are more aware by the time they become a father etc. Some get it right away. Some get it later. Some never get it. We don’t know who is who so we give it freely to all and let the chips fall where they may. That’s my philosophy
