I just forgave my mom and dad for the past and even for my mistakes bc i understand… today was my mom birthday and got into It with my brother bc of my son. It went into a lot of other things…. I hate that i said anything back to him but i left im tired of trying to save and help bc what about me?? I have to always be the one to hush or be the bigger person when they just made comments about me being a “ born again Christian “ i had to go sit in my room bc the demons was trying they best…. I understand the anger wasn’t at me but i just don’t like that i responded back. That’s the part but im tired of being hush and keeping It pushing. Never having a back bone never speaking up and never being able to stand up for myself. I have a son i have to stand up for because i can’t let him see momma being bullied and ect. Than he’s gonna think its okay to but i also understand not to fight fire with fire. My family is soooo toxic and i understand because they have they own trauma but ill be damned excuse my language but if i be a victim. Im not the things they tell me i am. Anger , fear , being loved when things are only done, that’s what I’ve become people i disliked… i noticed because i was in a relationship with someone and It truly made me understand my toxic trait from my family. Im struggling with healing frfr i don’t wanna be toxic i don’t wanna be angry i don’t wanna be controlling i don’t wanna be fearful…. As a kid my mother would show my sister clear favortisim. I would get in trouble for things i did but i also had to take accountability for my sister’s actions also as well. When i did something it was my fault and when my sister did something then somehow it’ll also be my fault. I was neglected, I wasn’t allowed to express my feelings, or allowed to have my own thoughts if it opposed hers. I had to live my life exactly how she wanted me to live. My mother never spoke nicely to me. Always yelling and cursing me out and belittling me every chance I got. I endured that pain so much that over time as i got older i felt as if i was prisoner in my own home. I felt hopeless because every aspect of my life was being controlled and manipulated by her doing. I want to forgive her and still have a bond with her but nothing works. The crazy part is she will act in public like nothing ever happened and will act like we’re this happy family when thats far from the truth. Living with her i never genuinely smiled. Even on family pictures where i was forced to smile because my mom wants to show off how good she was as a mother for her “vlog” because she wants to be famous. I could go into further detail about the experience of living with my mother but this comment is long enough.
