17:51 i just assumed baal and basically everyone but josh was in europe since they’ve brought up Portuguese cedh leagues in previous videos, and as a result had assumed that flying to america would be necessary so it wouldnt really matter where the magicon was held since itd be inconvenient regardless of location lol

Ideally, it would be a bit of a divide and conquer situation where we could alternate. Financially, it’s not really feasible to keep trying to fly three people to America when they could just take a train across the EU.

Baal, you could've just used Kenrith's abilities to pump himself, Emiel and Skirk Prospector to lethal levels, given them trample and haste and then swung for lethal, with Kenrith going at Hélder, just to laugh at the Angel's Grace with lethal commander damage. 😛

Niv resolving would bring Josh's hand from 2 to 5 in that same turn, and then go crazy in future turns. I was afraid that neither Hélder or David would be able to kill it in that precise turn cycle, and considering I had a decent hand, I preferred to have the other blue deck behind, once I would want to go off. :/ It didn't pay off for sure

My plan was to reanimate Hoarding Broodlord to tutor Homeward Path. Then on my turn i would sac the dragon, activate Homeward Path, get back Kona tapped and play something like Thorn Mamoth to control the table with Temur Sabertooth. I wasn't expecting Baal to feed Josh's Rhystic so much just to kill Selvala.

Do you mean around the 11:10 min mark? There was an overloaded Cyclonic Rift and Taigam is no longer on the table as FoW resolves.

Lol all he had to do in the end was channel that touch the spirit realm on his thassa's oracle. Its a flicker on the next upkeep he wins when it comes back.
