Thanks! I have two longchamp bags for travel but I like for my work bags to stand up and have structure. I go in and out of car dealerships so it needs to be durable, wipeable, and stand up on its own. But that’s just my personal needs

Dear@@LuxandWine I am not talking about Longchamp nylon bags but the Canvas with leather handles. They stand by their own and not slouchy at all. By the way, I ended up buying the Valentino Rockstud Tote and unfortunately it doesn’t work when I wear a thick shearling coat. The handles are shorter than other brands and it cannot be worn on the shoulders, only on my arms which is making the bag so uncomfortable especially with the computer and other work related stuff 😳

@@msymsy3293 yes the handle drop and the weight are still my top complaints. I can’t wear the rockstud tote with anything heavier than a blazer or trench coat.

That was a limited edition strap from a while ago. You can always use a strap from another company like Samorga or senrev

I don’t have it anymore. You used to be able to just email the company and ask for Luxandwine’s Valentino tote organizer. But I got a message they weren’t doing that anymore. Try Samorga instead.

@@samantarizzi248 I recently got a coach tote. The organizer fits in it so it works the same but it’s not as big as the neverful or heavy as valentino. Still leather but much lighter

In my experience, any bag that’s not black is going to pick up denim. The lighter the bag or if it’s just soft leather it’s going to happen. Some people spray their bags to protect against dye transfer. But I haven’t found that to work often

There are different sizes in LV. BB bandeaus are smaller than standard. And different brands have different sizes also. But if you get one from Hermes they are wildly different sizes

I bought it while we still had restrictions and I was pregnant so I didn’t get out much. I’ve maybe carried it twice since I got it. But I’m planning to carry it more this summer. However, it is fabric. It’s not coated like and LV bag. Don’t expect the same durability as a leather bag. Although there are leather versions of it.

Sorry I missed this. What did you end up choosing? I personally leaned more toward colored bags that contrasted my outfits when I wore a uniform. But monochromatic looks are so chic also. You can’t go wrong with either.

Consider weight. I love how my valentino tote looks but it is heavy. I’m not familiar with Celine but I know if you want leather without the weight, YSL has great tote options also.

Which bandeau are you referring to? I have two videos on bandeau styles you can get ideas from. I don’t have an artsy but I demonstrate styles on other single handled bags.

@@LuxandWine ok ill look for those video. I am referring to the WORLD bandeau (I believe that is what it is called). Its brown with the large LV flowers on it. One side has leopard print and the other side as the monogram print.

@@debbieh9009 oh yah I thought it was discontinued a while ago. This video was 2019. Most of the bandeaus are seasonal. The confidential group are some of the only ones that are around longer than a few months.

That collection was limited edition over a year ago. A lot of things like that you can’t get on the website. You could see if a client advisor can source one if they are still in production. Otherwise a personal shopper or the pre-loved market if they aren’t making anymore.

Just painters tape. But there is an alternative I spoke about in a more recent video. Apple garde does work, but havre de luxe also works and is way easier to use and doesn’t involve all the paper towels and taping.

I’m not sure what you consider standard book size. But the dimensions of the bag are on the Polene website or you can follow the link in the description to my blog.

They don’t have an official warranty. But each store has a general guideline. In my experience there is a direct correlation between your purchase history and your relationship with your CA when it comes to repairs or replacements.

I can’t speak for other brands but absolutely not for Louis Vuitton bandeaus. They are 100% silk. Not all silk and dye processes are created equal.
