Hey friend,I’ve been playing guitar since I was 12 years old. I’m almost 30 now, you do the math. Granted, I’m not a lead player by any means, never have been. So I definitely stepped outta my comfort zone for this one. I’ve been making content and music for quite some time now. As a matter of fact, last month I dropped my After Hours EP. Check that out, you might find interesting. I did metal covers of 5 of my favorite Adult Swim theme songs and the reception has been great. I played all the guitars on there (minus the space ghost solo) and I did vocals too. So no, I’m not a beginner and I actually do have talent. Have the day you deserve. Much love -Matt

It’s sad whenever those who were instrumental in a shows success, from the voice talent, writing, animation or what have you gets screwed over for one reason or another. George Lowe hasn’t been heard from much since he had some health issues last year, though his Jellystone appearance seems to be that he’s alright enough to keep doing voice over work. Hopefully Andy Merrill is able to get a better job, especially being able to do more voices and do more shows, same with Dana Snyder and Carey Means. I know Mike Lazzo didn’t seem to care about Space Ghost Coast to Coast after awhile and basically wanted to leave it in the past, while if not for that show the world at large would not even knew he existed if that show did not take off and become the cult success that it is. This sort of thing isn’t surprising as stuff like this has happened for so many years, but it’s still unfortunate all the same.

So, I always confused it with some rich person's artistic expression and grew a weird appreciation for this sign off. I recorded it on a VHS to show my mom and requested we hire someone to paint it on my bedroom wall. The full wall. I wanted to wake up to that. I would discuss the "deeper meaning" of the phrase "the dawn is your enemy.". In complete adult swim hive mindedness I swore hatred for the sun by age 11. It just clicked the sign off was in fact suppose to frighten me, not inspire me to stay up all night for the rest of my life and commission weird murals. I mean, it seems harmless. Till you realize how many friends probably assume your mental. In their defense I did think it was art. Exquisite art. Some where between van gouge and Picasso. I love adult swim for its influence on me.

This was a punishment for children who got up at night to watch Adult Swim. It scarred a lot of children...But, I look at it THIS way: Those children should NOT have been sneaking past their parents trying to watch Adult Swim. I never watched Adult Swim...I was never interested in it.
