I got an HK-40 cartridge for Uberhaus fixtures, much like the one you have. It produced water hammer anytime a fixture opened or closed in the house. I purchased another one thinking the first one was defective, but it makes the same noise when I shake it (didn’t install it yet). Any suggestions or recommendations to get rid of the water hammer?
@DCDC20122 күн бұрын
I had the exact same issue as this video series but with an old delta. The cartridge started knocking after I turned off the main shutoff without draining water. When I went to flush the toilet the air trapped inside forced out, where I suspect is where the cartridge/cartridge seals were dislodged or broken. When turning on the faucet or when other areas of water is running it knocks. Got a new knockoff catridge online and when you shake it also knocks, but I think the seals and gaskets inside the device stops the flow of water better, which is what's pushing the bearing inside to knock. When installed it doesn't knock so you just have to try it.

Dodge puts a engine cover on these V6 Pentastar engines in other vehicle models, but not the Promaster. Class action lawsuit is what needs to happen.

Can’t beat a table saw, or circular saw with a carbide saw blade for clean cuts on acrylic (plexiglass), or polycarbonate (lexan).

If you look at the bottom of the windshield there’s often a gap there and water runs under it straight onto the engine. Also the drains in the little water catchments underneath the windshield wipers can get clogged.

I’d try searching on how to fix CO2 canister leaks and oxygen tank leaks. There should be forums with people talking about these. Edit: you should contact support if you can.

Have you checked wheel balance? I've had a customer drive through clay. That clay stuck to the wheels and got them off balance. Maybe something was stuck to your wheel or you lost a wheel weight.

Ahh! The rear tire is hard to put a plug in. I had to pull out and use the debrider because... I can only apply 90 pounds of force by squeezing the tire between my left foot and two hands acting like Thing wiggling the plug in over 60 seconds; just enough!

The issue is that they are sent out without motor covers and when the water drips down the center of the windshield the water rolls down to cylinder one and rusts it up.

Very good job dad. Used your method but I used two small flat blade screwdrivers and needed to work them along by lifting with the following driver while scooting the front driver along. Made a small mark at initial pry area that I can live with.
