I think you missed one. No. 10 was "Forgive yourself for not being Consistent enough" i.e. don't stay stuck on the setback and beat yourself up for falling off the track. Happens to all of us at some point. Just continue where you left off and don't overthink or doubt your ability to continue. Not sure if this was the point you missed or some other in between. Someone else has summarized all the point in the comments. Do look it up.

What do you do if you can't communicate with the person? They are dead, or far away, or won't talk to you. What do you do then? The hurt remains unresolved?
@OnlineLifeGuide4 ай бұрын
Subconsciously we all need closure in such situations. That relieves us from the burden of hurt and pain or regret that we've been carrying for so long. But sometimes, life doesn't give us the opportunity to get closure through the means of direct communication, as in the cases that you just mentioned. In those scenario we need to find closure from within, by forgiving ourselves and knowing that we are only human, and forgiving them as they too are flawed human like us. Life can be difficult at times and we just can't always make the perfect choices and decisions or behave in a perfect manner. It's finding closure in the fact that we all mess up and that is totally okay. It also helps to make some conscious effort to make the "good times" or "good experiences" with the person the highlight of our memories with them, instead of the negative stuff. And finally, if you're still having a hard time finding closure, be gentle with yourself and keep trying, it can take time and know that it's alright that everything don't always have to be perfectly resolved. That's life. Solace is often found in acceptance. And once we make peace with the reality, we ultimately reach closure :)

@@OnlineLifeGuide Thanks. What worked for me was this: I realized that it was my expectations that caused me to feel hurt, therefore it's my own fault for having the expectations in the first place. I need to let go of my attachment to my own expectations through grieving them. I also realized that she did not hurt me intentionally. She didn't do it on purpose. She was just being herself at the time. So, those two allowed me to let go of these old hurts. Thanks for your clarity and wisdom! Bravo.
@OnlineLifeGuide4 ай бұрын
I'm glad you found closure and resolution. That's true. Expectations are the primary cause of hurt. People often see having expectations in a bad light, but that's actually natural and in fact an integral part of human relations. However when we are too emotionally attached to those expectation is when we get hurt the most, as you mentioned, it's about letting go of those expectations and acknowledging that sometimes people don't intentionally mess up or hurt others (or themselves) they just make some choices that seem convenient in the moment but end up causing trouble and pain in the long run.
@DirkWrightxyz4 ай бұрын
@@OnlineLifeGuide Yes! thanks! Finally! Someone who knows something about this subject. You're right, having expectations are normal, and dropping them can be emotionally difficult when we're attached to them. Engaging in relationship with a romantic partner requires both parties to change, which can be scary. Accepting that your partner is different from you and may not have the same expectations can make or break a relationship. People get divorced over strongly held expectations, for example. I like to use the metaphor of ballroom dancing for intimate loving relationships. Both have to work together to make the dance happen. If they aren't willing to dance the way you want to dance, and vice versa, then you need a different partner. It's not personal, it's just the way we are. Thanks so much for your channel!
@OnlineLifeGuide4 ай бұрын
That's the very good analogy. In fact, I just used dance as an example to describe romantic relationships in one of my articles recently. It's like an intuitive art that requires both people to have the kind of energy that complements each other and not cause friction by working against each other or stepping on each others toes. Thank you for sharing your experience. Glad to exchange thoughts and ideas.

Not sure how to start initiating healing on a rejection wound? 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️

We really don't need to worry too much about the healing as the mind and body are designed to heal and restore themselves, the only thing we need to do is to get out the way and stop self-sabotaging the process of healing and evolving. That's why we feel stuck in the same place because we are not letting ourselves move forward and grow out of the pain, hurt, rejection, disappointment, resentment or whatever is keeping us stuck in the past. Letting go of the trapped emotions and negative energies within is the first and most important step, everything else follows it automatically. Lately I've been practicing conscious gratitude every day, throughout the day, focusing on all the good things happening around me, the good in people, and the blessings within myself. This has helped me drastically in terms of mental health, letting go of resentment and blame, and beginning to cherish whatever good is happening in life instead of wallowing in what's not. Do this along with the other techniques. I'm sure it'll change things for you as well :)

I don't know. I tried everything to convince my family to permanently fix their sleep schedule. They won't listen. They won't even try at all. My sleep schedule gets fixed temporary and because I don't cook I starve until noon for breakfast which makes me ruin my sleep schedule again. And they are concerned about days being "short". That's because they choose to have free time on their phones in the middle of the night. And days felt long when I fixed my schedule because it gives me enough time to do other stuff in the morning. I also want to go to places which requires waking up at least 7am and then they don't want to do anything. It makes me mad.
@OnlineLifeGuide7 ай бұрын
That's a challenge I too faced. My family has a very late sleep schedule. I'm the only odd one out who goes to sleep early and wakes up at dawn. And yes cooking your own food is very important. 2 out of 3 meals I cook on my own. My family's lunch time is usually dinner for me. The first two meals I cook myself. Getting in the habit of cooking independently can be a very important skill. I know many people who are stuck in terms of their routine because they are dependent on their family to cook them food. I think managing your own meals will help you a lot.

@@OnlineLifeGuideCould you please tell me that how starving untill noon for breakfast fast affect/ruin your sleep schedule? I'm sleeping at around 2:00 a.m and waking up at 12:00 pm and I too starve until noon I woke up 1-2 days at 6 a.m and wanted to go to sleep at around 12:00 am I went to bed at 11:00 pm but fell asleep at like the same time I wasn't tired even if I woke up so early, Even if it's my summer vacation I've classes at 7:00 am so I've to wake up at 6:00 which I can't do and go to classes late for that and because I can't get time to do things I wanna wake up in the morning Nothing seems to work for me help me
@OnlineLifeGuide6 ай бұрын
The most important meal that affects sleep is dinner. If you have your dinner too close to your bedtime, it will end up disrupting your sleep and causing digestive issues. Its better to have your dinner at least 2 hours before bed, and don't go too heavy. Keep the dinner light. As for breakfast and lunch, do whatever is manageable for you. Fasting or being hungry during day time might not directly affect your sleep at night, if you keep managing dinner timing right. Make a checklist of all of these tips in the video, and make sure to do as many of them as you can every single day. You have to apply them consistently for at least a couple of weeks to get into the habit and start seeing results. As I mentioned in the video as well, changing sleep habits will take some time, usually 2-4 weeks if you apply all these tips properly and consistently.

Yeah, I too faced the same issue. Gotta make a routine and a proper structure for your day or else the habits keep getting worse if you let yourself go. Not having a proper sleep schedule or a structured day was having a toll on my mental and physical health. So now I do it out of necessity, because I know that if I don't, things will gradually start going down the hill. Learned this the hard way 💁🏻

Just saying, there could be a ton of possibilities. But if we have a negative thinking mindset, we'll only assume negative things about people. Something to reflect and ponder over.

Man my sleep schedule is so bad and I have a really hard time fixing it. It's been like this for a long time now. I'm so stubborn and don't feel like doing stuff to fix it but I'm tired of waking up so late and not having time to do anything. I have a hard time going to bed. I don't always feel like going to sleep and I usually have trouble falling asleep. My mind is so busy and I can't stop thinking about different stuff. I always have to watch stuff before I go to sleep or I can't go to sleep at all. It gives me anxiety if I don't watch something before bed and sometimes it does make me sleepy. I know I'm not supposed to look at any screens before bed but I have a hard time falling asleep if I don't so I'm not sure what to do. I have taken melatonin gummies and it doesn't always help me. I don't really drink caffeine so I don't really have to worry about that. I don't like reading so I'm not gonna do that. This is really hard for me... I've tried to fix my sleep schedule before and it was working but then I went to bed late again and it got bad all over again. I find it hard to be consistent with my sleep schedule. I also don't always have a reason to get up so I just keep sleeping. I'm so tired and I don't really feel like getting up... I just want to keep sleeping. I really don't know what to do anymore, this is frustrating me so much. I hate being so stubborn. Why can't I just go to sleep earlier 😭
@OnlineLifeGuide9 ай бұрын
I was in your shoes once. (Don't worry your shoes are fine) The most important thing you mentioned is "not having a reason to get up". Have something that will force you to wake up. Sleep problem is often not an isolated problem but a lifestyle problem and is related to several other things. Make sure you have important things to do everyday. That will use up your extra energy for the day and make you tired which will make you want to go to sleep. The reason we want to use our phone before bed is because we have all this unused energy left so we use phone to wind down our mental energy. I'm sure you've experienced some days at some point in life when you would be so tired that you wouldn't even think of looking at your phone and just hit the bed and fall asleep immediately. That was because you had a busy day. But for now, you can just set a goal to sleep and wake up at a certain time, and if it means using your phone to fall asleep, so be it. Use your phone if it helps (for now). First you need to dial in the timings no matter what you have to do. Then once you get into the habit of falling asleep and waking up on time for atleast 3-4 weeks, you can try not using your phone every once a while and gradually taper it off.

Do whenever its feasible for you. The information here is not meant to enforce rules but to give you a general idea. You can craft your own custom sleep protocol using this info. The point is to set the mood for sleep and prepare your nervous system. You can do it an hour before going to bed, and it will hopefully help you fall asleep faster.

And sorry for my bad English.. hope that u understand
@OnlineLifeGuide Жыл бұрын
Having insomnia can indeed be a struggle. Fixing sleep habits (which I've discussed in the video) does help with insomnia. But you will have to develop a protocol, a proper strategic plan to fix your sleep. Use the info in the video, as well as the additional tips below to make yourself a sleep protocol. A list of do's and don'ts of sleep that you must follow and practice everyday. First off, notice what might be causing insomnia. Do you have too much stress? If yes, then you must find ways to reduce it in your day-to-day life. You can manage your stress through stress relief techniques such as meditation, exercise, spending time in nature, healthy hobbies, healing activities, and taking therapy. Here are some additional tips that helped me (and still do whenever I go off track): 👉 1) Try to get to know your sleep cycle. This means finding out how long it takes you to fall asleep, how many hours of sleep you need, and what time of day you feel most alert or sleepy. (I think there are sleep tracker apps for this, but haven't tried personally). 👉 2) Find out what's disrupting your sleep. There may be some factors that interfere with your sleep quality, such as noise, light, temperature, stress, caffeine, alcohol, or medication. Try to eliminate or reduce these factors as much as possible. 👉 3) Get into good habits. Follow a regular bedtime routine that helps you relax and wind down before bed. Avoid stimulating activities, such as watching TV, playing video games, or checking social media. Instead, do something calming, such as reading, listening to soothing music, or meditating. 👉 4) Create the perfect sleeping space. Make sure your bedroom is comfortable, dark, quiet, and cool. You can use curtains, blinds, earplugs, fans, or air conditioners to create the ideal environment for sleeping. You can also use aromatherapy, such as lavender or chamomile, to enhance your relaxation. 👉 5) Don't get caught napping. Napping during the day can make it harder to fall asleep at night and disrupt your sleep cycle. If you feel sleepy during the day, try to resist the urge to nap and stay awake until your bedtime. If you really need a nap, limit it to less than 30 minutes and avoid napping after 3 p.m. 👉 6) Exercise during the day. Physical activity can improve your mood, energy, and health. It can also help you sleep better by promoting melatonin production and reducing stress. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise at least five times a week. But avoid exercising too close to your bedtime, as it can keep you awake. 👉 7) Avoid eating before bed. Eating too much or too late can cause indigestion, heartburn, or discomfort that can interfere with your sleep. Try to have your last meal at least three hours before bed and avoid spicy, fatty, or sugary foods. You can also drink a glass of warm milk or herbal tea to help you relax. 👉 8) Keep it regular. The most important thing to fix your sleep schedule is to stick to a consistent routine. Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends and holidays. This will help your body adjust to a new rhythm and produce the sleep hormones at the right times. 👉 9) Consider melatonin. Melatonin is a natural hormone that regulates your sleep cycle. You can take melatonin supplements to help you fall asleep faster. But keep in mind that melatonin is not a magic pill and may not work for everyone. It may also interfere with some medications you might be taking, so talk to a doctor before taking melatonin for longer periods. Apply these tips (and the ones I mentioned in the video for at least 2-3 weeks. It can take some time and consistent habits to fix chronic sleep problems, but it's doable. So use these steps for the next 2-3 weeks and notice any signs of improvement. Hope this helps.
