Great video and great to see someone cares enough about the old machines to keep them going. Obviously it's not an old video but footage like this really needs to go into the national film archives to preserve some of our heritage for future generations. The 1051 John Deere pto's were designed and built by Chamberlain Deere in their Welshpool factory in Western Australia. From memory the internals were out of a 955 John Deere which was a Manheim built machine. A CS105 Shearer, a 711or an 8-6 International and a 585 Massey Ferguson would have really made the day complete.
@oldrigsdownunder73018 сағат бұрын
@@peterfalconer-h3k thanks for the extra info on the 1051, that fills in the blanks a bit. They are a work of art the way they swing around and fold up. I’m a bit surprised there wasn’t a 585 kicking around, there would be one on every second or third farm in the district.

Looks to have been a great day. My little MASSEY 35 would have fit right in there. When you were showing pictures at the end I saw a what I think was a Sunshine auto-header on tracks, that must be a very rare machine. That shows that tracks on combines isn’t a new idea. There are a lot of things that people think are new ideas but were actually around years ago, technology just more recently has made it practical. Thanks again for the video.
