Make sure that you have triple redundancy , in other words your main way to get money by Western union, if there's a problem there you can use the ATMs which charge you a hefty fee. Or set up a bank account and use remitly , xbut Western Union is by far the easiest and the best. ALWAYS have three options receiving for getting money in a foreign country! Your fourth backup plan is to always, ALWAYS have enough American $100 bills stashed to get yourself home or through an emergency. Now get your passport and get going to those foreign country and finding beautiful foreign wives! I did it you can too.

I myself love simpler things and experiences over material. I only need certain materials, like clothes, a phone with data, a phone charger, and a fan for the summer with a heater in the winter, basically basic necessities, but I don't care about luxurious things, I prefer to take my filipina girlfriend out on travel and such, then when we finish our activities for the day, we cuddle each other and make out while watching something, then make love together, that's how we connect so well.

My uncle is a US expat that married a Filipina OFW and moved to Cebu. He tried to talk me into moving there with him. Wisely, I chose to snowbird instead. A few trips through Tondo and Mambaling convinced me that unfortunately, the Philippines IS a third world nation based on economics. In the US, we have laws designed to help some out of poverty ( are they always effective? No, but we have them) . In the Philippines, nothing is done to help the poor. Slums are razed to put in malls or condos and the poor move on and form more slums. I can only take living among the soul crushing poverty for 6 months at a time before I am glad to go back to Florida. My uncle lives in a millionaires bubble in Talisay Cebu, where the least expensive house is 300 million pesos, he is insulated from the reality.
