Vox Trike Fuzz achieved these tones several years ago and everyone hated it. Suddenly, because George Tripp’s makes the same pedal , it gets instantly loved.

The Trike has 2 things good about it: octave and fuzz. The Atreides likewise has only two things going for it: more and better. It's not just a fuzz, it has modulation and filters. The Trike is still at my local music shop, and one thing ofr it is that it sounds decent with a full chord played on it, while the Atreides is different.
