How to get to Mirage Island in Pokemon Emerald WITHOUT CHEATS!

Demonstrating how to get to Mirage Island in Pokemon Emerald without using cheats or 3rd party devices. This can be done on the physical copy of the game on a gameboy or DS, and on emulators using the ACE glitch. If your battery has run dry, it will stay permanently, otherwise last one day. Mirage Island is incredibly rare, and with this glitch we can force it to spawn. Here you can get the only Liechi berry in the game, and wild Waynauts from level 5-50.

should be alright if you hatch the egg, then move it to the first slot before going into the pc. I believe Pluses don't need to be in front other than when you hatch the egg.

@@mattiabucci921 It can be a bit overwhelming at first, but if you scroll past all that stuff, there is a box name code underneath it. All those letters and numbers above is not something you need to look at.

@@mattiabucci921 yes, just find the italian box name code for unlocking mirage island, and put that code into your pc boxes, then hatch the DOTS egg with the Pluses first in your party, just like I do in the video, but you have a different pc box name code:)

@@fantasticfungi951 If the egg hatches into a different species, the EV training was not done correctly. make sure it has not earned any exp before EV training it, and defeat exactly the same amount of whismurs and poochyenas.

Hey I got a question every time I use this method with a dry battery, the person stops seeing Mirage Island. This happens either when I leave their house and not go to the island or wait a while without talking to the guy without the island appearing. I was under the impression that performing this glitch with a dry battery it would maintain the effect indefinitely. Am I doing something incorrectly?

You need Pluses the in-game traded plusle in front of your party for it to spawn, if the in-game battery is dry (dead), it should last forever, if not, it lasts until midnight in-game time.

@@ricofrancisgries5066 You can determine SID with ACE, no problem! Also you can change the frame you are on to "time travel" close to a frame where you would get a 6 IV shiny, for example. I'm planning on making videoes for that too, but I believe you can find how to do it in the pastebins and some digging online

@@MankeyMite Yeah cuz since your Trainer ID (TID) and Secret ID (SID) influence the game’s frame rates and RNG, it seems that while you can change your SID by performing one of the glitches in the pastebin, the effects on frame rates and RNG may still reflect your previous TID and SID which won’t allow to RNG manipulate. That’s kinda why I’m asking if there’s like a different method in determining SID without having to catch a shiny Pokémon and calculate its EVs to determine the SID?

Playing on console, I’ve already successfully used this code to obtain zangoose but now I’m trying for celebi. Unfortunately the old man doesn’t see mirage island after I have entered the code again and hatched a new egg. does this code only work once?

@@carmoscreations2802 The island is only visible for one day, so you need to do all of them fast, and also keep plusle in the front of your party. You can always repeat the last code to change pokemon by simply changing the four boxes that change depending on the pokemon, but if its been a day, you must start over from the first code

@@carmoscreations2802 hm, did you have Pluses in the first slot? and keep pokemon out of boxes 10-14 if you put some there. Some codes don't work when there is a Pokemon there.

So I'm playing on hard Ware for the English version using the new method with the stable ace pokemon dots for the execution of the code and it's not working I have the pulse in my party and everything when I enter the code and check my stable ace pokemon it teleports me back in to the city I talk to the old men and he just says he can't see mirage island I type In the code just has in the video for the hard ware USA version

for console you must start box 1 with 2 instead of 0, as I did this on emulator. Also plusle must be first in your party. If this doesnt work, maybe your Dots was EV trained wrong, but if you already made a stable ACE species I guess thats not the case.

yes, if you have set up Dots eggs with the pomeg berry glitch, you are ready to start. Make sure to keep Pluses in front of your party as you do the code for mirage island to spawn

I see, when I got the event it was years ago, I’m not sure if my plusle is still in my file, if I used a pluscle from my other file to put in front in party would that be alright? Since the pluscle is a in game trade.

@@rayboyman no i think it must have ran dry because its a time event. If your cave north of Mossdeep city stays the same, your mirage Island would stay forever too. So you could check there I guess.

if it just freezes it most likely means your code is slightly wrong. I would try naming the boxes again, make sure to type all spaces and don't mistake 9 for q and so on. Very easy to make 1 mistake.

Hey, did you follow the guide on the linked video first? If setup correctly, with the Pluses in your party and using the code, you should be able to unlock Mirage Island after using this box code and hatching the Dots egg. I haven't heard of a pokemon turning into a bad egg after using these codes before.

Would help if you slowed the video down renaming the boxes. The pastepin doesn't have the box name codes there its other stuff like legendaries, starter pokemon appearing etc.

You need to do the ACE setup first, link in description. This is not a normal egg, but a corruption made through the pomeg berry glitch.
