@@Dreadpigmelee well we all making mistake , im new as melee hunter but : 1 Get BM build on single target boss and SV build on 2 AoE bosses (majordommo and Sulfuron ) 2 On AoE boss dont use a pet - get TNT , Carve and Lonely Wolf runes . YOu should do most of your dmg from explossive trap . Or even go ranget with trap launcher and explosive shot - why now ? you can di more like 3k dps 3 On single target you got a wrong pet , screech from you pet wont reset Flanking strike - only bite but got 10s big CD . Take CAT with claw only (dont take bite) for full spam . Claw will reset your Flanking strike 4 Your pet dying on Ragnaros few times . You got max FR talent on pet ? i think not 5 Change TnT rune on Raptor Fury on single target (but i think now ater buff you know that)

1/2 yeah doing this is much better, have been doing it in later raids 3 sadly i was late in noticing this, have had my bird since 45 and love him but with the lower dmg we do now i have changed and lvled up my old cat this weekend instead of teaching my bird claw 4 it is weird that he died so much but one was melee from rag i think, he does have full fire ress and have been dying less in other raids where i have been more careful 5 yeah love that they buffed raptor it feels so good to get super high mongoose crits when everything aligns haha Thank you bro! :D

In raids with wbs BM 2x 1H is the best now but in dungeons with alot of aoe 2H Surv is abit better

Might start using a BM specc in mc with WBs now since pets gets them aswell now

Yes but part of the change is that it now scales with your highest ap stat so most likely ranged

@@Dreadpigmelee i just did the math for my character and even though it scales with ranged now, it's at the 25% reduced rate. Equals about a 30% nerf to my explosive trap damage

Yeah my dmg feels pretty bad on ony, kaz and abit azuregos but in mc i felt kinda good until rag, in the middle and if there was aoe i was pretty high. In a pug tho

Sadly, melee hunter is dead. Tried every variation and it dosent work. Bm hunter, melee weave and full melee. They dont come nowhere near the other dps.

@@AkiikA072 Yeah I've tried it with an OEB I got that no one else wanted and it's just sad compared to trap launcher and spamming CS/AS

Weird that they nerfed our melee runes, i wonder how good it was before. Might take a while but they will probably give us a buff

Thx 😄. Yeah catlike gives very little dmg So with the setbonus its better to use rapid killing since 10% attack speed every minute is gonna add up

@@Dreadpigmelee hey m8 sorry for the questions but wanted to ask you would you now add to cast this every time on cooldown to your raptor strike macro or would you just save it when needed? only asking because with such a small CD of 1 minute would make sense to me to use it every time when it's off CD... cheers.

Thats smart actually would save space and only downside is that u get a global CD sometimes

Well if u get a proc and dont have flanking strike rdy u could do it when u have raptor strike cd, it does do over 100dmg now so it is something

Yeah it got a big upgrade, i would still say crafting helm is better tho, plus hit and 3+ dmg every hit is also good. And ofc the use effekt

Showed it abit in my last video, the best tree for dps will be 40 points beast master and then u go get savage strikes in the survival tree with the rest of the points :D

I mean you record your own gamepaly and make videos to inform and help other Hunters and talk about min maxing yourself , just going from your own gameplay you can't use the ''not optimal group'' excuse. Also if anything I'm looking at your own Itemlvl parses which should be a bigger indicator if you are delivering or not. We dont know anything about the "heroic" dungeon loot yet or their difficulty. all that happens is that i make a video update when we come to that so it will be chill

Well depends if the bosses are 2 lvl above or 3 but i dont think it will be worth the gold since they are giving u extra weapon skill on 60

It stacks yes but only the first 5 gives the most,basicly after that u get less and less per point so loosing all stats on the gloves u could have gotten instead will not be worth it

Well someone will have to test it but wind serpent will be very strong if bosses have high armor again and if u have shaman debuffs and the fist weapons in the raid it will get even better since they give increased nature dmg, cats will probably not be far behind tho and we will have to see how strong the new pet core hounds is if we get those this phase. I dont like serpents and am abit tierd of my cat so i might just go with a wolf or bird this phase and just take the dps loss

Not sure what you mean, it reduces nature res and increases nature dmg with 8%, great for wind serpents
