The worst headphones I've ever bought ! I've had 3 pair of B&W speakers to date, loved every one of them, I can't believe B&W actually produced these headphones. I've tried many high quality amps with them both Solid State and Valve, different DAC's Denafrips Venus, Chord TT2, Metrum Jade, Tube Technology DAC64, Jolida FX Tube, I loved the look and didn't wanting to give in, "B&W just couldn't make anything bad" I tried to convince myself that they would bed in and get more comfortable, they didn't. Everything about the dam things was trying. I was glad to see the back of them, a total waste of time and money.

What a waste of a video. You don't say if one speaker is true left and one speaker is true right, you don't say how many units can be connected. You show how to connect and nothing else.

5:18 Great video! Being a bass lover, the bottom playbar is much cleaner. Natural sound. That was Yamaha pitch for their receivers in the 80’s. The CR series. Anyway. We have sun and play 1’s. They compliment each other. IMHO 😊

I thought I was the only one out there, I hate the black bars from the bottom to the top, I feel like when I'm watching a movie on my TV that I've been robbed and cheated and not using the full potential of my TV screen, I just think they shouldn't have them full stop, and then when you zoom them out you're losing picture quality, people need to come together campaign and hope that they abolish it lol in modern day and age and technology I'm sure that they can get rid of the black bars when you pay and go to the cinema they don't have black bars!

I compared Jaws 4K through my Apple TV against the 4K BR. I personally found the Apple TV 4K image to be marginally better, despite the much higher compression on digital.

I lived in America the blu ray 4k. The movies are very cheap in some titles. I have movies with Dolby vision. I still love the physical media.

I hate this so much... why are they doing this . its so stupid i would rather have a tv with the same aspect ratio as movies.. When i use zoom it cuts of so much from the sides.. i feel like im missing alot from the scenes because its cut of from the screen.

Did this test at home and PlayBar sounds way better standing up as if it were wall mounted. The highs become clearer and the dialogue really pops. The reason being that the tweeters aren’t angled at 45 degrees and now more directly facing the listening position.

I do both - any epic sci fi or action movie - with big sounds and or visual fidelity - I like to pick up a 4K bluray - any other movie where acting, directing supersedes sounds/visuals - I stick to Apple TV for the ease of use. Example being - Ready Player One on Bluray and Joker on streaming

Just to add a 2022 update. I purchased the Beam ver 2 and the new Sonos Mini Sub. My opinion is that the PlayBar by itself sounds better than the Beam v2 with the Mini Sub. Yes…yes I said it. It is not even controversial or close. The Beam ver 2 is improved over the original beam. It excels in clarity of vocal channel for movies and TV, but it just does not sound as wholesome as a PlayBar. Even with the Sub it does not outdo the PlayBar. I have tested these two thoroughly and again, not even close. Get a used PlayBar before getting a beam any and everyday of the week. My PlayBar I picked up from someone on Facebook Marketplace for $200. So worth it.

You can buy the discs then redeem the digital copy and have the best of both worlds. I’m sticking with Blu-rays because it’s better quality and value considering how much you are getting.
