Thanks so much! Yeah, I thought the 12 would be enough for me, but once I realized I prefer to record everything isolated (even things like tambourines)...and be able layer as many vocal harmonies and guitar tracks as I want, I was eating up all the tracks too quickly with the 12.

Damn you are so good! I remember in the midst of the 80's thinking I was "hot-shit" going to an out of the way muisical instrument store on I-25 (I'm from east Tn, but THAT place was "in the woods"!) Anyway, while I was there, several old men were playing folk/country/blues licks in the back of the store. I stood there amazed at the skill they had. I had to shift gears. The interplay was the THING that mattered. (I'm only telling you this stuff because I'm more than half-way through my 6-pack and I think I've found a musician who might maybe understand...) lol NM (I'm so lame!)
