As long as the door isn't too heavy, this'll work for a while, and is really simple and easy... but you might want to dish the top of the lower face a little, to keep it from rolling off while you assemble the hinge. If you incorporate a bearing trace and multiple ball bearings, it'll last longer under heavier load. Use a pressurized grease fitting and it could probably move a vault door. Use roller bearings in the right geometry, and you could scale it up almost indefinitely.

According to me for real heavy weights needle bearings are a better option . But the one big bearing turns lighter.

I bought the HF and other than the switch breaking off the 3rd time I used it (right after the return policy ended of course) it has been fantastic. I picked up some purple 3M Cubitron belts and they last FOREVER.
