I was fortunate enough to pick up a Harbor Freight bender here in my hometown for the amazing price of $80 . I’ve yet to come across a project that I’m going to use, but I can see how it’s worth it in the long run Thanks for your videos. Oh the little town I’m in Pahrump Nevada 50 miles west of Vegas.

Awesome upgrade. Dude you gotta clean that shop. My OCD was off the roof. 😂 my fab shop isn’t the cleanest but it’s organized. It’s hard to work in clutter like that. It’s also unsafe.

That's awesome man. I learn alot from you I just got Evolution's 14" metal cutting miter saw. It is a game changer for me. Have you seen one? It's just like a miter saw for wood, but with an additional clamping system so the work is securely held while it's being cut. I love it.

for checking radius as I roll I just use math to determine the chord height of a 24" chord and then check that against the deflection over a 24" straight edge with a depth gauge or a combo square. It's very accurate if you have accurate measuring tools, or if you just to get in the ballpark if you don't. Those radius gauges are super handy though.

More stuff I didn't know I wanted- and badly!!!! Good for you guy! You should serve as an inspiration to all the young guys, and girls!, that want a paying career and aren't afraid to work with their hands AND head! Of course, us old farts just get a giant case of jealously because we can't do a lot of this type of thing anymore, but it's heartening to see that there are still intelligent young people out there that aren't woke snowflakes looking for a handout. Good on you!!!

Hey Chris, Great info and inspiration!!! After checking out your video I went to the Swag site and noticed the limitations of rolling square tubing. It looks like your hoops are much smaller than what is recommended. Are you doing anything special to get the large group of hoops/the real small ones? Are you using the cromo dies? Thanks!!!

Look up a Promaco 2-40 section roller machine... it's 100 times better and stronger than a cheapy HF ring roller...if you're doing a lot of circular work it's VERY effective! It has 40mm shafts and adjustable rollers to accommodate any size material it's rated for. It can do 2" × 1/2" flat bar the hard way (on edge) in something like a 1 foot radius! Plus a lot more... round, square, rectangular tube, angle iron and C channel. Could really open up some bigger doors for you...they of course have larger machines as well.

So can the harbor freight tubing roller roll flat strap? I’ve been wanting a ring roller for some time, but I’ve been having a hard time figuring out which one to get, I mainly would be rolling less than 2” wide flat less than 1/4”, and not often enough to justify a really pricy machine.
@MakeEverything
@MakeEverything Жыл бұрын
Yeah the HF will do that type of material but you’d need to get dies from Swag Offroad for the flat material. I don’t think HF makes flat dies like that.

What's the secret for cutting those angles with the hand held circular saw? I'm making table legs out of 2-1/2 square tube with the large evolution saw and had to clamp a fence onto each tube. I just can't see where the cut is. Maybe you're just good 👍
@MakeEverything

The Milwaukee saw cuts pretty true to the line, there’s a few little marks on the saw plate that helps track a line. I just use a sharpie, draw a line and cut slow. It’s nice being able to cut 2” in one pass like that in basically an unlimited length!
@Digital_Dairy
@Digital_Dairy Жыл бұрын
@@MakeEverything Ill just keep practicing, really haven't used the saw much. My table is 2 different lengths and angles so I ended up cutting all four in one pass, super convenient for sure!
