how about Britain's stop complaining and actually do things to prepare for the damn problem. also no single weather event can ever be directly linked to climate change that's simply how it works.
Cloning people, also known as human cloning, is a highly controversial and ethically debated topic. As of now, cloning humans is not only illegal in many parts of the world but also poses significant scientific, moral, and societal challenges. Here’s a brief overview: 1. **Scientific Process**: Cloning typically refers to the process of creating a genetically identical copy of an organism. In the context of humans, this would involve somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT). SCNT involves: - Removing the nucleus from an egg cell. - Replacing it with the nucleus from a somatic (body) cell of the person to be cloned. - Stimulating the egg to divide and develop into an embryo. - Implanting the embryo into a surrogate mother to develop until birth. 2. **Challenges and Risks**: Cloning humans presents significant risks, including: - High rates of failure and abnormalities. - Ethical issues related to identity, individuality, and the rights of the clone. - Potential for physical and psychological harm to the clone. 3. **Ethical Considerations**: Ethical concerns include: - The morality of creating a human life for specific purposes. - The rights and welfare of the clone. - Potential societal impacts, such as exploitation and inequality. 4. **Legal Status**: Many countries have strict regulations or outright bans on human cloning due to these ethical and scientific concerns. Given these points, it’s crucial to approach the topic with a deep understanding of the ethical, legal, and scientific dimensions involved.

Saludos

This looks soo incredibly exciting! I’m going into my first year of medicine, but I recently discovered an interest in biotech startups. I’m honestly not quite sure if medicine is the best career path to go into the biotech industry (most people in the industry studied biochem or some type of engineering), but I was wondering if you think it’s possible to run a startup while still studying.

Its a lot more believable than the shit that's in your holy book
@jacoblewis1807Ай бұрын
Is it now? Most Christians have witnessed miracles like in the Bible. How many believers in evolution have ever witnessed evolution like described in your holy book. Your faith is entirely blind. Ours has been being confirmed repeatedly generation after generation for thousands of years. Through miracles, scientific discoveries, prophecies fulfilled, personal experiences, historical discoveries, archaeology, to name the basics. Now how has evolution been holding up? Fossil record with no transitional species. Ten million year old horse is identical to the ones today. Same can be said for 100% of all species that are alive today. Millions of years. Nothing changes? Evolution? Modern genetics has proven that the variations within kinds is caused by the loss of generic information. Not the gaining of new information, which is what would be needed for grass and elephants to have a common ancestor. Evolution? I could list more and more examples of why evolution isn't only less believable than the Bible, but less believable than Pokemon. At least pokemon admitted the obvious. That evolution implies the existence of some kind of geodude in our ancestry. You know? Life spontaneously coming out of non life. Instead I'll just do one more. Human beings are the nail in the coffin of evolution I think. Because, everything we know to be wrong, is exactly the right thing to do if the goal was survival and offspring. Evolution could never produce such a thing as a morality built in, that drives the being to die to itself and serve others. If you would like more examples of why a belief in the God of the Bible makes more sense than you may have been told by the system that has been brain washing you since you were born, I would love to turn this into a conversation with you. The system we grew up in had me believing evolution too, so I'm not some born and raised Christian. I attacked Christianity zealously from when I turn 16 to when I began to question at 30. The intellectual class (clergy) presents it's religion as proven facts rather than evidenced faiths. If you really care to have the truth, and not just fit in, then I suggest you set about to proving the things you Believe, and stop assuming others have already proven it for you. Cause they haven't.
@probablygeorge64898 күн бұрын
@@jacoblewis1807No they haven't. They canf prove it, so their anecdotes are meaningless. They mean even LESS because theres muslims, hindus, jews, etc claiming the same bullshit. Btw believing in observed science takes no faith, you're just using a tuo quo que fallacy to bring evolution DOWN to your level of childish superstitions
@probablygeorge64898 күн бұрын
@@jacoblewis1807 "life spontaneously coming from nonlife" makes infinitely more sense than an all-powerful being spontaneously coming from nothing and then using magic to create everything from nothing
@jacoblewis18076 күн бұрын
@@probablygeorge6489 it's definitely not more sensible. Think about it. You assume that God came out of nothing? We consider him to have no beginning. You seem to think of "nothing" in a similar way to how we believe in God. I think it's infinitely more reasonable to say that a magical being created everything, than it is to say that a magical "nothing" became everything. Especially since the universe shows signs of design. It doesn't appear as something randomized. If we walk up to a pile of toothpicks that are arranged to spell out "hello", it's more reasonable to start looking for the person who did it, than it is to say that they just fell that way. DNA contains unimaginable amounts of information, and we've only ever witnessed information coming into existence by way of an intelligent mind. I'm going with what we have experience of, you're assuming something novel.
