It’s astounding to me how many people completely misinterpret the Sabbath for New Testament Christians. Nowhere in scripture or anywhere else is there any sort of suggestion that we changed the Sabbath day from Saturday to Sunday. The Sabbath was a day of rest under the Old Testament law. In Colossians two Paul says that the Sabbath, the feast, the new moons and by implication all of the Old Testament civil and ceremonial practices are what he refers to as shadows, representations of something else, but Jesus is the substance, what the shadows represented. Now consider the regulations regarding the Sabbath - six days man show work and on the seventh day he shall rest. The six days represent the period in the history of God‘s people where they had to keep the works of the law in exchange for God‘s declaration of righteousness. When Jesus came and lived a perfect life and offered himself as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, those who put their faith in Christ are no longer required to keep any of the Old Testament regulations. The works of the law are no longer required, we can now rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Jesus, his person and finished work are the Sabbath and by trusting in him we are in a sense keeping the Sabbath. Now in regards to christians going to church on Sunday, that has exactly 0% to do with the Sabbath. We go to church on Sunday because it’s the first day of the week and it’s the Lord’s day. All throughout scripture we see the law of the first. If the first fruit is holy the lump is also holy. We give God the first day of the week just like we give him the first fruits of our possessions and increase increases. Going to church on Sunday is about giving God the first day of the week because it belongs to him. My wife and I finally came to this conclusion a few years ago- that to follow Jesus and to express our love for him is to obey Torah and keep the Sabbath as part of that. Hi, I'm a gentile believer. I follow Christ and I'm non denominational. I know this will sound weird to many, but this happened for almost 4 years that whenever I opened my Bible praying to God to speak to me, without fail I got Sabbath verses specifically on Saturdays. This kept happening till I really was fully convinced and started to keep it with all my heart. I'm serious and I'm not lying. I also got sabbath and Passover verses on the Passover week this year according to the Jewish calendar. There was a time I was not sure about the Sabbath day and there came a very hard time in my life when I was pregnant and had to work during winter that I would wait and yearn for Friday evenings. God spoke to me during those times and I remember very well repenting of not giving Sabbath a thought or consideration, but just going with what others said. I used to attend a church that said it is not needed to follow Sabbath anymore. I know we can worship and fellowship on other days as well, but The Lord Jesus said that He is Lord of the Sabbath and that it is a covenant forever. Christianity is honesty, or supposed to be , this clip title is deceiving. Seventh Day Adventist is not in the Bible, contending with them is a waste of time - they don’t get it. That is the acknowledgment of the truth with obedience.

The Sabbath is Saturday not sunday

When did asking someone to repeat something equate to conceding the argument?

😂😂😂 I’ve had this debate this week and the people who refuse this truth often resort to Hebrews 4 and 7 which clearly talks about something different from a Sabbath change, the only commandment God said to Remember is forgotten, it’s actually the most mentioned Commandment in the Bible 150 times is it mentioned.

You can not find God's day of rest by the calendar,, it's impossible,, the calendar is the abomination that maketh desolate because it brakes All of God's commandments especially the Sabbath day especially the first two,, have you no other gods before me,,, and make you no GRAVEN images nor bow down or serve them,,, this is what the calendar does,, but you go to church on Sun,, day or Saturn,, day which pays homage to Nimrod the first man to go against God and was also called Saturn,,, How did Mary and her son Jesus Christ found their Sabbaths,,,,, by the light of the moon and I keep the commandments especially the Sabbath the same way as Mary and her son Jesus Christ do, by the light,,of the moon and Jesus Christ kept His promise to manifest himself to me and he waved to me three times.
