In spanish we say taza for a cup used for tea or coffee. We say copa for small glass cups used for alcoholic drinks.

Todas las palabras de ese español hispanoamericano es sólo representativas de una región. En otras regiones, se usan mas paras igual al de los españoles.

There's nothing wrong with a language being different. The guy is just laughing for no reason tbh. It's like those videos that compare German with other romance languages, and use only the vastly different words. It's educational at least 🤷♀️

They are indeed being educational but they would be even more if they showed a more subtle difference between french and the others like for example those identical words that are pronounced in a completely different manner in French
