I like video and the still image. But with the still image you can sit with it quietly and contemplate.

So glad that you dusted off the xpan, to me your best work is created using that camera, it fits your style perfectly. - m o o d -
@teemu.mp42 күн бұрын
When it works, the xpan is awesome. But it's also pretty restrictive at times because of the f4 lens + film... So sometimes I come back with nothing but underexposed wasted opportunities. That, plus it's big, so I don't always pack it on trips. But yeah I do still love it!

@teemu.mp4 True, true. I tend to bring a tripod, but then spontaneity takes a hit. Any tip for best (cinematic, gritty) foot bridge over train tracks in Tokyo? My last night here for this time, but missing that kind of shot so far.

@ there's some around shinjuku if i recall Also these days i dont even pack a tripod usually haha

Amazing footage brother! Are you still not using an ND and just keeping the setup as minimal as possible?
@teemu.mp43 күн бұрын
yeah no ND but I also dont shoot on super sunny days so at most I'm at like 1/300th or something which isn't ideal but not crazy choppy
