An air hole gave the entire lake the ability for air to escape. That’s what happen

Wish someone would add to the description what in the world is going on. Because I don't have a clue what's going on I don't know if there's a big whale underneath you ready to pop through the ice or if there's gas pressure underneath the ice or if it's just are underneath the ice or if there's a ghost underneath the ice maybe Sasquatch is underneath the ice. I can just make up anything because you don't explain shit. For the love of God will someone please tell me what in the world is going on in this video. LMAO

Love that sound. Always a good day when the lake is talking. Had water blow up through 8 inch holes in a shack on a -10° day. Could hear it coming and we got out of the shack just in time before everything got soaked. The waterline was 10 inches down the hole when we started. Lake Winnebago is a crazy place.

I may not know much about lake ice. But one thing's for sure that did not sound good at all. I'll be getting off that ice and quick. The shortest route to land in a hurry and that ain't no joke 🤯!!!. One thing I learned in life what sounds sound out of the ordinary. It's time to find safe grounds and do not hesitate. Because it can make the difference between life or death.

What was that like a big air bubble moving under the ice? I’m in Oklahoma it was 68 degrees today Nov. 10th so we don’t see this type of extreme ice we get some but wouldn’t walk on it.

😂 Just letting off pressure. You know when it's too thin for sure. I was on Bass Lake in Indiana one night walleye fishing through the ice and saw a guy crossing the channel. I got scared for him cause the channel has current, sure enough he went through. He was a pretty long way from us, but over the ice at night we heard everything. He grabbed for his sled when the shelf went down, the sled flipped and then his lantern popped when it hit the water. We roped up and tried to get close, but ended up, they had to dive to recover him. He never yelled, I think with all the clothes, he went straight under. Sad... be careful out there guys, and carry ice picks around your neck.
