Why won't you guys go ahead and answer the damn question like adults. Why are you all laughter and playing like you are kids? That was an important question and an adult will articulate the answers in a way that it's easy for anyone to understand. Instead y'all were all over the place and anyone who's new to this won't even know when the question was answered. This is why Asians especially the oriental Asians are always ahead. They know when to laugh and when to be jovial and likewise when to be serious. You need to see how they attend to matters like this over there.

I really like this Juki TL model sewing machine, the only problem is, the machine doesn't do zig zag stitch.

Good to know! My HZLF600 does this all the time. I finally gave up and bought pre wound bobbins. Now that machine is acting up and I gave up and bought the Haruka TL18. It came yesterday and I'm in love. I hate bobbin winding so I'm going to be ordering some pre wound bobbins from you guys. I hope you have a variety pack and one of off white too. PS I'll get the F600 fixed z and use her for decorative stitching only.

I am not sure why people say backtrack. It’s backstitch. When you are tacking something you are doing it in place you are not moving .

Does it sew stronger cotton ropes of 6 and 8 mm? I work with that kind of ropes but it's hard to find a zig zag strong machine .
@hunterwatson8613
@hunterwatson8613 3 күн бұрын
The cotton rope bowls I make use 6mm width braided cotton rope. I have also wound fabric around the 6mm rope. I use a jeans /denim needle. I find the 6mm rope gives a stiffer item than 4mm, especially the vertical sides of a bowl. But this also very much depends on the type of rope used. The issue with 8mm rope is the height the presser foot can rise up, and if you can raise the foot high enough to be able to move the rope easily underneath it

I have an issue with my machine. I did not sew for over a week, and today I tried sewing, but the machine is not stitching. It only cuts when I am trying to stitch no matter if I have the foot pedal cover thing to avoid the cutting. I cleaned and oiled the machine but does not stitch. Any idea what us going on with it??

I bought an EB-1 from Juki Junkies recently. Was really easy to install on my TL2000 and use! Im still shocked by how much it cost but I decided to treat myself. For many years I’ve been using an antique Greist high shank buttonholer which are hard to find. The Greist worked well but was inconsistent and I only had 5 buttonhole templates and no bar-tack or eyelet. The EB-1 has so many options and it’s easy to do horizontal BHs. Also, unlike the EB-1, I couldn’t change out my bobbin with the Greist on my Juki. Eta: unlike the Greist, the EB-1 isn’t greasyLOL. The Greist is mechanical and has to be oiled.

Thank you for sharing. I have an old used home sewing and want to up grade. I am a beginner. I wanted to know if tl 2010Q or 2000Qi and a serger would be an adequate replacement? For making quilts and clothing for me and the kids' zippers and buttons included. Thank you❤🎉

Great video...I called Juki Junkies office and got advice on which serger to get for my type of use...which is very lightweight all the way up to heavy weight. I ended up getting the MO 2800 so I could have the option of adjusting the tension if necessary. I also prefer to have less computerization. So far I am happy with my decision. I still get the knee lift, I have a magnet tray on both sides of the top and a built in rolled hem lever and (TWA) Tweak Width Adjustment. The 2800 has a manual cutting blade on the side, but not automatic cutter. It does not have the fancy foot pedal or speed control. The 2800 has almost everything I would need... The only extras I would have liked to have some additional accessory feet...It came with the standard foot and a curve foot. I will be getting the tractor foot and one of the kits with popular feet. I am replacing a popular Brother Serger. Brother was a good starter machine, but I need something a little more heavy duty.

I’m so glad you mentioned the industrial thread wt and changing to the lighter weight. I normally sew with thicker fabrics and needed to do a cotton piece. I didn’t think of changing my thread. So If I understand correctly; the wt of the thread changes for different wits o fabric. Correct? Thanks from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada eh!

Sorry you got such a harsh critique from jmremy, I thought you did a great overview. I’m purchasing the de654 next month. It’s a bit more for the buttons being on the outside, but I figure I’ll have it for years to come. Thanks for your review. Love your nails btw, and you digressed? Makes me wonder how some can invest in such long and negative comments. Get another hobby I say! 😊❤

I’m looking at getting a new machine. But I’m old school power and ease. I basically use straight and zigzag so just wondering if these new machines have a foot that will do both without changing feet.

I love these pens, BUT they dry out fast and reappear if they get cold. I use them only within a seam line. They are great to sketch on fabric if you are going to sew over it. (Thread painting) Then, just iron away. If it does show up, it is under the thread. I don't think they were intended for fabric. We just like to use them!

Thank you, I was coming to say the same thing. I really regret using one on a wallhanging from when I first started sewing and no one warned of the cold bringing the ink back and washing being a must to remove it permanently. Who washes a wallhanging quilt? Not I 😅

Can you install this on the back of the machine? I was thinking the area right behind the needle would be good. My TL18 won't be here for a couple of days yet so I'm not sure what is behind the needle... maybe the take up lever is there? I don't know. This is a great addition to any machine, I have a F600 but can't wait to get my new girl. I'm thinking of names right now. I wish Wednesday was here now!! CAN'T WAIT🎉🎉🎉
