"Sing the Sorrow" was phenomenal at the time.... but almost two decades later it's even better, and even more emotionally powerful. AFI's magnum opus, IMHO, and this song is such a perfect conclusion, musically and lyrically. Jade's guitar is particularly riveting, I love that crunchy-yet-smooth tone he seems to favour. Probably my number 1 AFI song, tied with "The Great Disappointment", "Reivers Music" and "Bleed Black".

About 20 years ago, I was going through really hard times. When someone reached out to me and i couldn't put how I was feeling into words I shared this song with her. Now, we are all kinds of music with our children. I'm sure there will be a day this song is an example I use to explain expression through music.
