This Title of the Documentary should be in reality : Adult Black Bear, manage to scary off,only a Cub -Young Grizzly 🐻 !!! Its very logically and understanding, but never had a chance against a Fully Adult Grizzly 🐻 Bear !!!

That black bear didn't seem afraid to me...not at all. It left because it wanted to.

Hundreds to thousands of years ago back bears used to be much bigger in size, but always smaller than their brown counterparts.

This male bear was definitely blood related.

You generally do not see Black bears this big he is 400+ easy maybe even 500lbs (which is all most unheard of) ,and that Brown bear has him outweighed a little but, is only a 3 year old at best. The brown bear is just lacking the wisdom that they kill & eat black bears all the time. That being said this is the perfect storm of criteria creating a once in a life time event to be filmed. Very good stuff.

Bears are difficult to judge for the area they are in. The black has a lot of space between its belly and ground, the grimz looks like a just kicked off of mom male. I wouldnt shhot either one if i had a tag. Great footage, thanks

You know how many animals get truly abandoned because some human comes along and picks it up and cuddles it or pets its ? I even remember a baby seal on the beach , still had umbilical cord , I called him Sam . I went and found a ranger and they roped the calf off . Tld me if people mess with them the mothers wont come back . The ranger put signs up stating this and I can not tell you how many people disregaurded the warnings and the momma never came back . NOT a happy ending . WHY do people do this ? Always "me" . Just heart breaking . If you see little animals on the side of the road leave them alone and report it to park rangers, forest service , police or even the animal control . PLEASE . I understand they are cute and you want to help but the chances are high you will actually kill , because when your done ooing and awing and the mom doesnt come back ,it will starve or depending on the size be killed and eaten 😭😢😿

I am no expert. Looks like this Black Bear was Infact a Grizzly family breed albeit Black in color. Grizzly need not be always that specific color, otherwise, why there is another breed - Brown Bear. Also, how come it is so bigger than Grizzly here, when that Grizzly was not a senior cub as per below comments. I've seen many BB in India, and they are smaller than this one although still huge. (May be Indian ones are smaller different breed). 🤔
