They are great and love them soo much. But their new album and Eps are not so well received by many loyal fans (including me). I think that recent change in the style can be more harmful than good. Also they are several unaddressed allegations regarding Remington and Emerson. Also At the Europe tour, that is happening right now drummer, Emerson Barrett hasn’t been present since past 3 weeks. Nobody really know why is happening to him

Interesting, I get why you like what you like but my personal taste is Bullets>DD>BP>Cheers, (100/100,100/100,100/100,98/100) CW in reality goes last but its not really a normal album and accounting for that its between BP and Cheers

I just went to my first concet in October (we were there to hear Marcy Playground but Everclear and Jimmys Chicken Shack were there too) Im genuinely sorta upset with myaelf that I've never further explored modern grunge before this video (thank you). I love the darker, messy, 90s grunge sound and have went listened to other bands similar around this time but Ive never thought to listen to modern stuff (guess I just assumed when the genre fell from mainstream perspective it died)

I'll never forget in middle school band our band teacher always making the 6th graders play the monster mash for the fall concert... All instruments played with only their headjoints for the entire song... 2nd hand embarrassment for the newbies in middle school whenever that time of year came 😅

What do you think of the fact that Panic! Is the WHEN WE WERE YOUNG headliner music festival in Vegas October 2025 and says Panic! Will play AFYCSO in its entirety? If there’s any time Ryan should come back… it’s now
@EternallyUncoolTrevor10 күн бұрын
@@joserubio4403 I think it’s awesome they’re doing WWYF, but I doubt Ryan is making a return. I’d love if him, Jon, and Spencer joined Brendon, but I think I read somewhere that it’s gonna be the more recent lineup. Still awesome, though.

@@EternallyUncoolTrevor It was during the Vietnam war and they got investigated for being anti Vietman war! I believe Micky Dolenz tried to sue them into uncensoring the redacted portions of the report sometime in 2022 but I'm not sure how far he's gotten with that haha. (It has been released and is viewable online but it VERY redacted)

I remember being immersed in the Midwest emo scene during my high school years so around 2005. Everyone was in a band. Like, so many local bands from the area. We'd play in basements of churches and a couple local coffee shops would host band nights. This was when screamo and mathcore were becoming more popular. Mosh pits were a must. Punch dancing outside. All while wearing skinny jeans, jet black hair, and your favorite emo band t-shirt. As for a sleeper album, I recommend "Keep It Like A Secret" by Built to Spill. Such soft melodic rock. Really easy listening. It came out in 1999 in the early phases of the emergence of what people would start calling 'emo'.
