Very interested in this game, but it'll have a hard time topping Rising Storm 2 for "best 'nam game" THAT game actually feels proper to being a ground pounder in the war, as in, absolutely terrifying and death coming in out of nowhere at any moment. Slight correction though; Russia and North Vietnam were ALLIES, but hardily friends. Ho Chi Minh flatly did not want help at first, and the people that succeeded him in leading the NVA only reluctantly accepted Russian help, since they wanted Vietnam to be a Vietnamese Communist nation, not a Russian satellite. They thought with good reason that accepting too much aid from Russia would result in that.

Running from a dog is no good, you made yourself prey. Yell at the dog. You must put the fear of God into a creature before you send them to him. What the hell did you think would happen when you started playing chase?! You could tell the dog away Okay. Now you’re being robbed. You try to get away and he keeps coming, do you just shoot? That is wrong and very irresponsible. You try to get out, put the fear of God into it, and then execute. You are a coward and should not carry

I love the energy of your rant. However, when it comes to being disarmed and regulated, all you have to do is say "no". That little two letter word is more powerful than they are willing to admit. It's powerful because that little two letter word governs our actions moving forward from that point on. In short, that little two letter word is the gateway for non-compliance. It's the gateway to telling them "F**k you, I won't do what you tell me". If I don't own something, it is not because I am too poor, it is not because I am afraid of what some suit 2000 miles will have to say about it, it's because I CHOOSE for myself not to own it. It's that simple. These people who think they are kings, are more than 1000 miles away from you and their goons can't be everywhere at once. So now, that little two letter word becomes quite powerful doesn't it?

It’s big talk. But neither you nor those two letters are gonna serve ten years for me if some DC asswipe decides to make an example of me. You nor those two letters are gonna feed my baby or house my wife while I’m rotting in a government cage-never mind the legal bills. We agree in principle. I support non-compliance as a concept. But there’s a practical risk VS. reward element to this that gains in severity when people depend on you. I’m sure you can appreciate that. I’m reminded of Matthew Hoover whose wife and kid are having to get along without him because some soulless ATF slime decided to make an example of him. Juice ain’t worth the squeeze for me. If it is for you, I say rock on. I don’t see nothing. I don’t hear nothing. I don’t say nothing. Matter of a fact… I’m not even here. 🤙🤙🤙

Good job (even though I'm a dog person myself). Wonder about devensive scenario against human - possibly drugged - with .22lr and its efficiency. Pity that, although I could conceal carry such pistol in Poland on my permit, after such situation I'd most likely lost my gun licence if not got charges. That's why, especially living in a really safe country, I don't carry a gun on a daily basis.

Careful about "presenting" to end a confrontation. In a lot of jurisdictions that will land you in jail. That said, thiscwas a 100% legit use of force. Anybody saying you "should have used pepper spray" is full of it, they aren't carrying anything.

Years ago, I stumbled upon an article that highlighted the gallery load ... or per the article, the "cat's sneeze" load that was employed by the Finn's against the Soviets during the Winter War. Great info on this topic. There was also an article published in Hand Loader magazine years ago that published info on Gallery Loads. This article focused reloading using Trail Boss powder, which is very difficult to find now. I worked up a couple of loads, using 85 gr. lead projectiles with about 6 gr. of Trail Boss. Had about the same report as a 22Lr and was very very accurate out to about 100 yrds. Great video!

Interesting. I'm not really looking for sub-sonic 7.62x54R as much as just reduced loads that can be made up cheaply. What Ive found is that good quality black powder, or better yet a substitute like Triple 7, with cast bullets works quite nicely, throwing 200g at 1600 fps and powder coated 130gr in the 1900-2100 fps range. The biggest game changer is reloading the primer, Berdan or Boxer. I found that the FA-70 recipe, circa WW2, though corrosive and containing lead, works superbly and is dirt cheap to produce. These are costing 20-25 cents per round depending on bullet choice. I remove the Berdans hydraulically, and found you can get nominal .311-.312 diameter projectiles from cast .308s by powder coating. I moly coat them before loading. Very fun to shoot these and I'm sure they would have no problem serving as hunting loads for deer, or varmint control. Cheers
