Fan of Queen, not a fan of Sex Pistols at all, so when i heard the name Sid Vicious, first thing that came to mind was Sid Vicious the wrestler from back in the days of the WCW/WWE wars 😂, which were also the golden years of pro wrestling. Everyone knew who those guys were, even people that didnt watch it. Mid 90's to mid 2000's was the best, Goldberg or Stone Cold Steve Austin anyone? Haven't watched in years now, tried to, just cant do it......

I love the rivalries of this period. They never knew how good they had it.

I am pretty sure that the rest of the Sex Pistols would agree with everything that was said here. Especially the "Sid was a moron".

Worst mistake Lydon and the Pistols management made was bringing the no-talent junkie on board. It was straight down from there. Glen Matlock was and is an excellent bassist and was a huge part of the songs on that one, excellent album.

Fun fact: The reason why Sid Vicious became the Sex Pistols' new bass player is because Johnny Rotten sacked their original bass player just because he liked the Beatles. And that is why I personally have a hard time taking the Sex Pistols seriously.

Just learned - I used to live on 136 Holland Road ( London ) Freddy Mercury lived on 100 Holland Road were he wrote Bohemian Rhapsody - Holland Road at the end is connected with Shepherds Busch base of -the Sex Pistols, they were called The Strand, or sometimes The Swankers. in 1972 Steve Jones and Paul Cook, along with Wally Nightingale started the band , Therefore Queen and Pistols are connected haha
