The only other question I have is does this job "go home with you"? Are there any sort of tasks, projects, or unexpected objectives that extended outside of normal working hours? For instance, I was a librarian for over a year. My employers never told me this during this in the hiring process, but I actually became responsible for creating program plans...this was essentially a research and presentation task that was near impossibly to work on during business hours unless I was given time off the front desk. Therefore, I had to work on it at home a couple of hours per week every 3 months. I prefer to leave work at work. Hope this makes sense. Also I totally love your hair, it's very pretty on you !

I chickened out I was called for an interview but after watching this video I'm going give it a try😭 fear always holds me back I was scared that I was going to mess up a transaction and cause a big issue I'm unsure I'll even enjoy doing the work you mentioned it was repetitive with long hours

Yo I feel you at my McDonald’s I’ve been working there for a year gotten no raise when I asked for it they said they have to do a manager meeting to see how well the store did for cleaning ,sells ect so in a nut shell don’t work for this company because you can work your butt off and still no raise for you because they judge your raise based off the whole crew not individuals that been there staying late to clean and stock,cook ect for the morning crew that disrespect us night crew and dealing with rude ungrateful customers cuss and say mean things to you because you told them to use the chaos.

woww i totally relate to getting basically bullied at work by a lady whos twice my age.. she was always rude for no reason, even when i say hello to her she completely ignores me and whenever i had questions she made me feel stupid for asking. one time i made a mistake and this was my first job so obviously mistakes happen and she yelled at me in front of my coworkers!! one time i was cleaning the table with the wrong wipe and she said "that's not how you clean the table girlfriend." in the rudest tone ever... i went home and cried and had to go to therapy. also there was very clear favoritism to other workers and i really never understood why i had to be mistreated like that.

I had a manager tell me i fd up , I walked out the next day, I lied and said i had no babysitter. Just cause the eggs were 3 mins late but i was on my second day of training. She just didnt like me. Some people are evil. Dont worry life will teach them a lesson in humanity eventually.

I worked at the Olive Garden years ago. It was one of my first serving jobs. It was a nightmare. I am now a cocktail server in a casino and we are actually union employees so they have to treat you right and can't get away with messing with your schedule. Actually at my job the girls yell at the managers and get away with it all the time(not me though) but ive been there for 8 years now and its because we are part of a union. It changes everything

I have a manager who calls me lazy and useless behind my back then is so nice to my face and i of course smile at her and im nice back but everything in me wants to ask her wtf is up and they know i have slow learning issues yet get pissed at me when i dont remember somthing- i try my hardest at whatever they tell me to do yet its never NEVER enough. The co workers talk shit about eachother the managers talk shit about eachotner everyone sucks exept my tiny group of friends and lately i dont know if i can even trust them!

i got the job

I had asked to be trained on other duties as I had been working out the front of the store for some time and wanted a change. But I also thought it was a good development opportunity to expand my skill-set. The managers trained me on other duties for one day before relegating me back to my usual duties. I kept asking if I may continue to be trained on the new duties and the managers constantly said they would when it was not busy. But no one approached me during the non-busy periods. Anyway I put in my notice and on my last day, a manager came up and asked if I was leaving because I was not being trained in the other duties. They finally mentioned the elephant in the room after I announced that I was leaving (and after months of not saying anything). I had found a new job that related to my college degree so that was the main reason. But the lack of training was also a factor. They had someone who was keen on moving up but they dropped the ball.

The interviews I was in were not interviews where you can just come up with things on the spot
