Bro, is that true that it rains a lot during the month of November and the weather is most likely cloudy all the time ?

Not at all! When we were there, it was mostly beautiful. We can't recall much rain, to be honest.

Also glad Jeremy has grown his other channel through his passion. Looking forward to your future posts. Myself and my wife just spent 5 weeks touring Europe! It was amazing! And on our itinerary was Lugano! My wife went to a private school there 🏫 called Tasis her junior & senior years of high school. Lugano is absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, we were unable to do funicular on Mt.Bre. We had the opportunity to go to Austria 🇦🇹 and took the train from there. The Swiss Alps were breathtaking! Very interesting video you guys. There is a tree that is much older the the Bristle Cones. It is the Bennett Juniper, it's located in the Stanislaus forest in California. It is south of Hwy 108 near the town of Dardanelle. This tree has been core sampled and is over 6000 years old. You can actually drive to it but it is NOT easy.. Most people have never heard of it, but trust me, I've been to it. - - - -" oldest thing God has wrought"... a portion of the description written on a sign nearby... The tree is 87 feet tall and it's trunk is about 9 feet in diameter at ground level. (Google it for more info.)

Hj just wanna ask how and where to buy train tickets from milano to lugano? Any links please? Thanks
@jillianandjeremy4 ай бұрын
Hi there! So sorry for the delay responding. The absolute best way we found was the 'SBB Mobile' app - the icon is red with two, opposite facing arrows and a line in the center. It makes finding the schedule and buying tickets SO easy. Hope I'm not too late and you can use this tip!

Jill and Jeremy, would you recommend using third party tours for 1st time cruisers traveling with young children?
@jillianandjeremy4 ай бұрын
So sorry for the delay, Casey!! The only third party tour company we can recommend is: www.yucatancenote.com/. We know the owners and have personally used them two or three times and had EXCELLENT experiences each time. The owners are lovely, Canadian expats who employ deeply knowledgable local guides who know all the good, hidden spots not consumed with people. Highly recommend - and please tell them Jillian and Jeremy say HI!!!

Hola! New sub here. My Wife and I are looking into retirement in that area. Where would you suggest if we only have two must haves? 1. Bicycle friendly 2. Beach life.
@jillianandjeremy4 ай бұрын
Hi Sam!! First, so sorry for the delay. Next, CONGRATS on your new retirement heaven!!! Definitely NOT downtown Progreso - unless you rode only on the malecón (which doesn't allow cars), I wouldn't ride a bike around narrow, populated roads. That said, Progreso's neighbors Chelem and Chuburna are more quiet and have both of your requirements. Best wishes!!

Is there a specific beach you recommend?
@jillianandjeremy4 ай бұрын
So sorry for the delay, @yusraa5701!!! We definitely prefer the beach on the international malecón side in Progreso (left side of pier). To us, it was more quiet and had more expansive coastline. The original malecon (where all the restaurants and shops are - if you are looking at the pier, the beach on the right side). Hope this helps!
