As a Swiss person, I love that you gave so much space to that Romanian restaurant in the video. It's a culture we don't often hear about, and I had no idea there was one in Zürich. The staff seemed lovely and the food looked delicious - certainly going to pay them a visit when I'm in Zürich the next time. Well done on a video that goes beyond our "cheese on bread" type dishes ;-)

Thank you so much for that wonderful compliment! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed more than the typical stuff. We definitely had no idea about Romanian food, and that was such a treat. They were amazing. Unfortunately, when we were posting this video and trying to tag them, we found that they are no longer there. It’s now an Asian restaurant. So unfortunate! But, we are going to email the chef and servers this video, and maybe we’ll find out that they are somewhere else. If so, we will update the description of the video. Cheers, and thanks again for watching!

Oh, that's a shame. Thank you for the hint though! I'll certainly revisit this video, and many more from your Switzerland series. It's been a really refreshing change from the many travel vlogs that just show Interlaken or Lucerne. Sure, those cities are great, but if you've been to Switzerland for more than a few days and haven't visited the Ticino region at all, you're missing out on so much. I was so happy to see that that a local recommended Ascona, such a gem of a town. And Lugano, though much bigger, also has a very special kind of charm. And the village of Curzútt I didn't even know about, I'll definitely need to visit that! It probably helped that Jeremy has spent some time here, from what I understand. Your series felt like a very authentic representation of Switzerland, much more so than what I'm used to seeing. (I like seeing my own country through other people's eyes - and your perspective was a very enjoyable one to watch).

As a Swiss, it is always amazing how tourists enjoy our water. At this moment I realize how well we Swiss are doing, on the other hand it is almost perverse to use this water to flush the toilet.

Hi Guys! Is the cost of living in Switzerland fairly high? I'm assuming so because it's fairly expensive to eat out. Like Canada and the US. Love that you can refill your water bottles everywhere! Jeremy, your burger looked amazing, but lord....$35??? You can see by my comments that I've been living in Mexico a while :D Jillian, that soup looked amazing. Well done Jeremy for trying something you thought you might not like. Jillian is so cute when her hands shake because something is amazing! HOLLY, YOU'RE A NATURAL ON CAMERA!!! All the foods and drinks looked amazing! - Anne

Hi Anne! Yes, Switzerland is the most expensive country in the world. The prices were staggering 😫🥴. Fortunately, the Swiss get paid really well, which makes it feasible to live there. Zürich is the most expensive city in the most expensive country in the world. So yay for free water!! 😂

Please be aware that Aperol or Campari spritz have been invented in Italy (Aperol and Campari are Italian booze) dated back to 1919 in Padova, so nothing to do with Switzerland
@adjusted-bunny5 ай бұрын
The Swiss refined it and invented a ton of mix drinks around it. You can say that the Swiss made Aperol famous.
