Congratulations on the awesome look of the classic glaives. Just gonna add that you can do the BT Timewalk raid on any class (assuming you have Warglaive achievement, got mine on a rogue). Did the raid during Timewalking on my hunter and after Illidan I finally got my glaive look, which is going to be my forever look on my demon hunter.

@kaction make sure to do the chain skip thing if youre gonna farm them on a demon hunter! You can just search it on youtube like "black temple dh skip" should come up! Good luck!

I loaded you KZbin today & saw the notification about this video and had to stop watching to jump on wow to get into a group quickly! This is also my 1st ever time-walking dungeon too. And also being "declined" about 11 times i finally got into a group and 3 deaths but no full raid wipes later, got it done! YAY! Thanks so much! I was only level 70, so now the only option is to level up. Im nearly 75. Edit: got to level 80, and after many declines from groups and delisted groups, I finally got into one and got my transmog!! Happy Days!!

omggg that is so awesome!! its amazing how it happens like that sometimes. its actually quite similar for me, i had farmed the warglaives for several months a few years ago. then i gave up for a few years, and only back in July when one of my discord members mentioned how theres the demon hunter chain skip thing in black temple i was like omggg whatt?! so i decided to go run it and i got the main hand on my 2nd attempt! then the next week i tried again and got the off hand! so literally months of disappointment years ago, then boom i got them both within just a couple weeks good luck with the main hand!

Super cute video. Thank you for the previous one because I didn’t even know you could get this achievement and transmog until I ran across it. Because of that, I got to complete the achievement myself last night. You expressed nervousness on completing your first raid, as a returning player, I noticed a big difference between the looking for group versus a guild run. Guild and clan mates are a lot more forgiving, whereas it’s only looking for group stuff where people become jerks. I encourage you to try out some more content, if it doesn’t stress you out too much. A week and a half ago I was able to hop in your raid and take out Sylvanas, that was fun. I was happy to join your discord group. I’m sure your particular group would love to do some raids with you, and you don’t even have to be the leader you can just be the one who pulls them together. My first real guild back in 2007 the guild leader didn’t even run the raids. He had someone much better to do that for him. And we were the top alliance raiding guild on the server. I will say that going through Black Temple, on time running was nostalgic and amazing, much better than blasting through it when I was farming, the gaves myself.

thank you! and oh good im glad i was able to inform you about it! congratz! yes i am veryyy nervous with group content, and i've never been in a "proper" guild before, except on classic when it came out again in 2019, i got to experience raiding molten core, blackwing lair..etc and i actually did enjoy it and find it wholesome just never tried being in a guild on retail cuz retail can feel so fast paced and scary haha but yea i think you're right, if i found the right people it might be good, or like you said, if i put it together with some discord friends oh and im glad you came with us for the Sanctum of Domination raid! that was fun

@@LadySurvivalWoW I think one of the biggest differences, when you’re raiding with the guild you’re all on discord or some other voice chat, so the camaraderie is a lot different. I used to play back when there was 10 and 25 men separate raid lockouts. I really love the bigger groups. During cataclysm when they switched to two single lockouts per raid, I ended up leaving the server and finding a 25 man rating group, because our old guild quit doing it all together. I was too low level to raid during vanilla, but the 40 man raids just seem epic when there’s that many people together.

ooo good question! im actually not sure :o like i dont know if it counts as the same lockout, or if "timewalking" black temple is a separate lockout from "regular" black temple. worst case tho, you could just do it on another character. like say if you try to get the glaives on a demon hunter, and IF you did get lucky and get them, you can run the timewalking on any class and still get the achievement (for example someone got the warglaives on their rogue, ran the timewalking on their hunter and still got the transmog achiev) the only thing tho is that unless you already have 1 of the warglaives, considering you can only run it once this week, you wouldnt be able to get both in time cuz timewalking will be done by next reset i hope that all makes sense haha tried to explain it as best i could

update: i logged into Wow and checked my lockouts, turns out they are separate lockouts! theres black temple "normal" and black temple "timewalking" so you can do both :)

For the record you could have used glaives since you're scaled down to their level for timewalking raids/dungeons. If you ever do other ones and have the legendary from the expansion they are bis most of time.

you have to get the glaives from the original Black Temple on a Warrior, Rogue, Death Knight, Monk, or Demon Hunter (must get both of them on ONE character) then once you have the glaives, and equip them, you'll get the achievement "Warglaives of Azzinoth" at that point you can run the BT timewalking on ANY character, like your priest, and it will unlock the transmog and im pretty sure the transmog itself it only useable on demon hunters

@raginroadrunner5038 for black temple it doesn't matter what difficulty you had it set on cuz that raid is so old that back when it came out there was only one version/difficulty so no matter what you set it to your good with that one :) But yes, it can take several attempts. Some people grind it for yearsss like 100+ attempts Or you get lucky and it can be in your first few tries

@@emreatalay734 oh sorry i see yea you have to farm the warglaives of azzinoth from the original black temple raid (you need both the main hand and the offhand of the weapon) they are a low chance drop so it could take you manyyy attempts. some people farm them for years. once you have them both and equip them you get the "warglaives of azzinoth" achievement. once you have that achiev, you can then kill illidan during BC timewalking (like i did here) and then you'll get the achievement "i'll hold these for you until you get out" and it unlocks the ability to transmog them on a demon hunter sooo its quite a process haha :P i just created a playlist of all my black temple/warglaives of azzinoth videos if you wanna check those out and skim through them to learn more kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4baZaKdaMqZpa8

nope, these ones are special legendaries that require some achievements til it lets you mog them, same with the thunderfury blessed blades of the windseeker (i dont have those yet but yea) but i feel you cuz i didnt even know it worked like that until just a few months back XD i thought that if i just got the warglaives that i'd be able to mog them. someone in my discord told me about all the steps then i was like ohhhhhhhhh shit :P
