Unfortunately, this did not help me fix my DJI Mini 4 Pro video in Premiere Pro. It's still flickering. The roof shingles. It's so annoying. Thank you, tho.

I noticed your recording is on channel 3. When I upload to premiere pro, it’s also on channel 3 and 4 both from internal mic. How do I switch it to channel 1 and 2 so I can add external audio to channels 3 and 4 for multi audio editing?
@RobertMTeegarden10 күн бұрын
Need to move the audio on the FX6 to those channels in the quick menu settings, then you can add external audio as well.

Excellent! Re 4:34 I just found out that instead of hitting CTRL + A to select all tracks, CTRL + Shift + K will cut through all tracks without having to select them. That's the equivalent of holding the Shift key when the razor tool is selected.

Great video. I really appreciate what you are doing. I live in Iowa and have the ATEM Mini Pro Iso, Rode Caster Pro, Sony FX 30 and Sony A7IV. My goal is to have a streamlined two camera angle interview set up. Would you consider coming out for a day to help me set up my workflow?

Is this a system agnostic problem? Or are people having issues in any OS: MacOS, Windows, GNU/Linux? And only with v3 or all SanDisk Extreme (regular and Pro)?

Do both mics have the capability to "store" the settings internally within the microphone? ....For example, if I set up the mic to my liking (using the included software) on my computer, will the mic retain all settings if I use the mic on a different computer that doesn't have the software installed?

My question. I had a shure MV7 microphone, but I was annoyed that when it was connected via USB to the omputer it had a weak gain. I had to plug it into an audio interface to get it to start sounding good. My question is. Does a usb podmic usb connected to a computer via USB have more gain? Does it have a better preamp and gain in it? Does it have good listening on headphones? Is it not too quiet?

So this is you using the rodecastor for audio and the atem for video only? I see a lot of people showing videos on how to plug the audio into the Atem from the rodecastor, which in my mind almost makes 90% of the rodecastor pointless to have. Am I talking out of my @$$ or ?
@RobertMTeegardenАй бұрын
No not really, but that might be in a livestream setting. I did that two weeks ago for a client who was livestreaming an Annual Fund Meeting for her Venture Fund. You can run mics into the Rodecaster, mic line from the monitors into the ATEM and the ATEM into the computer but we just went Rodecaster into the computer via USB-C and it worked really well.

So you had a cage problem, not a Smallrig V-mount Battery Plate problem per your title. 🤣🤣 I certainly agree your final kit is much improved and I appreciate that you showed all the steps to rebuild as there are many great tips involved. Thank you.
@RobertMTeegardenАй бұрын
Understandable perspective but the mount should be compatible with the standard plate sizes and not be proprietary to one manufacturer. They could certainly. sell more units if it wasn't isolated to the smallrig ecosystem.

Cam Link does send sound from camera (like Nikon Z6). So, you don't necessarily need a separate input.

True but I always prefer separate audio signals than the one coming from the HDMI.

Can you edit 4 4K videos without proxys? I can’t and my pc is so powerful in task manger, none of my components are maxed out Unfortunately Premire is not optimized for multicam 4k videos and higher.
@RobertMTeegardenАй бұрын
I can’t. How fast is your hard drive? Are you using high speed connection (cable) as well?

@@RobertMTeegardenI’ve just had Adobe test this out on my PC and they concluded that the software is having issues. Adobe said that 4 cameras in 4k should work.

Hello Robert, i'm using mini pro ISO with 3 Sony FX3 cameras, and 1TB SSD,.I only have 11minutes of space on SSD? Can you help me because i'm sure i can have more space on SSD even if i record ISO.
@RobertMTeegardenАй бұрын
You have 11 minutes left or 11 minutes when you open the drive? Have you deleted and emptied the trashcan? The cameras don't matter as the feed/codec comes from the ATEM. I usually have a 90 min podcast take up about 150GB.

Hey Robert, I'd like to know how many multicams your mac can handle without proxies? I am often working with 5-7 cams and am wondering which macbook to buy. I use h264 4k xavc-s files, thank you.
@RobertMTeegardenАй бұрын
Great question. I use 4 routinely and it seems to be fine. It's more a matter of how fast your drives and cables are from what I have found. That's the biggest bottleneck.

A lot of this mic are defective. A bunch of them die after some time and a lot others (via USB) keep disconnecting. Have you ever had this problem? THis mic is really good, but it has become a nightmare for a lot of people. Really sad!
